Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sidney, NE

This was the worst hotel I have ever pulled up to. There was an empty parking lot with and abandoned van sitting there. The window was punched out and tumble weeds were underneath it. It looked like a scene from a scary movie. That was only the start, once we got to our room the smell was so horrendous (a mix of BO, weed, and cat pee) that we decided to leave and stay somewhere else.

Bathroom tub was dirty, toilet had a ring in the bowl, no hot water, no replacement batteries for the chirping smoke detector, dog hair on the couch and bathroom floor, a bug crawled out from between the sheets when I pulled the sheet back. I packed the grandkids back in the car, requested a refund and left.

in room. Almost empty roll of toilet paper and no extra. Front desk clerk was helpful when we asked about nearby dining, and asked us if we needed anything when he saw us in the hallway. This is not staff's fault, this is a problem with management, they need to better maintain this hotel.

Live and dead bugs everywhere, including the lobby, trash all over the property, badly stained and grimy chair in room with glitter on it. GROSS. Stained mattress, weird hole in mattress, curly hair around toilet, dirty sink, grime ring around toilet water, stains all over floor, complete TRASH. We left immediately. Do not stay here, the nice pictures do not show what the property is like. Disgusting hotel. Looks like it could be abandoned from the road.

This is the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in!!!! The tub was brown from built up grossness!! Looked like it had never been cleaned there were dead bugs in our room. Garbages were overflowing! There was a pile of ants on old food not cleaned in room. There was old McDonald’s wrappers behind the tv console. Front desk guy was nice but hotel was memorable in the wrong way!

When i arrived the hotel it had broken windows on the front outside. Room looked like someone sat or was laying on the bed stains on the floor just looked dirty.

We were given a room that had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We did not have a good experience.

The room was untidy and there were stains on the toilet that were just unusual for a hotel like this. Location is busy right in front of the truck stop. Breakfast was less than typical of a Country in. Overall very disappointing stay.

Floors in our suite was not vacuumed well or at all but we made it work.

DIRTY bathroom, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned correctly in months. Toilet broken and filthy, Shower would not drain, bed was worn out, hot tub broken, weight machine broken. Breakfast only had about 1/2 of the items shown in pictures. Front desk wanted to help but said that the owners continually ignored maintenance requests and repairs. Staff acknowledged that the current operation does not meet the expectations of an average traveler. All staff were very frustrated with the owner’s lack of desire to make their guests comfortable and safe. Other reviews mention that there were bugs, and yes, they were correct. Please do not stay here. We vote with our money by spending it at locations that value customers and show integrity to fulfill their obligations.

This property needs to be overhauled completely. The carpet in our room was coming up. The bed linens were clean but the bed was not comfortable. The air conditioning was icy cold, which was a positive. It was obvious that the front desk needed more help. When we first arrived, we were sent to a room that was currently occupied by another guest. Then we were sent to a room that had not been made up from the previous guest. Finally, the third time around we arrived in a room that was adequate. We noticed a mouse hole on the stairs. The window air-conditioning units on the staircases did not work. Carpets were stained and dirty. Bathroom needed to be scrubbed.

Breakfast was good, but was running out of all hot foods and many cold foods by 8:30 for breakfast to be served until 9:00. Breakfast area was large, but not tidy, no utensils. Desk staff pleasant and friendly, but new to the job with inadequate training.

Worst hotel and for what I paid for is ridiculous for them to charge so much for a run down hotel!

Our check in was fine and our room was clean but for some reason at 1:00 in the morning our smoke alarm went off and continued to beep loudly for several minutes until we fanned air towards it with our pillows, needless to say it ruined a good nights rest. The other thing that was shocking was how dirty and unkept the outside of the property was. There were empty cans laying all over the parking lot along with just a lot of garbage that needed picked up and there was no landscaping whatsoever. When we pulled up we almost turned around and left because it looked so run down.

Roaches. Doors wouldn’t open, staff expected us to walk back and forth down a long hall repeatedly to try get the door to open as they burned one key after another. Half the rooms were propped open with an ironing board as if to air out. If there were another opportunity, we would have taken it.

Hallway carpet very stained and looks filthy. Will not stay here again. Do not recommend.

The room.and hallways smelled of.urine. the pool had a musty smell like mold growth. Breakfast bar had very little choices and hot food was cold or gone well before the end of breakfast
