Everything was good about the place and I was still there again

Covenient for I-80 travelers with clean, comfortable rooms and the solid Hampton Inn breakfast that gets the next travel day started off right.

Property is under construction. Rooms signs not on doors. Room had strong smell of renovation and was obviously recently remodeled. That made it super clean. Grounds were "ok". Felt safe "ish". Front desk guy was nice and helpful.

Desk clerk with not very friendly. Basically handed me the room key and that was it.

The shower leaked like a sive.

Great stop for people with dogs! There a walking path around a pond/lake and the nearby Cabelas welcomed dogs on leash. The staff here really welcomed our puppy, too! The rooms are clean and comfortable. AC was working (we go “cold” at night so much appreciated!) Next to several restaurants of decent quality and a Scooters coffee stop. The breakfast was very good: omelet, juices, cereals, bagels, 4 coffees and more (complimentary). Very rare I have discovered.

They are doing renovations which is good for the future. But it is messy and smell very bad. Not well managed the civil works. Dusty and smell unhealthy.

When booking it did not mention they were remodeling. That would of been nice to know. I'm on a business trip and prefer to stay somewhere I could relax comfortably and completely. Hampton Inn has alway been good but heads up would of been nice. Receptionist also was not the most professional Receptionist. Pool was below standard etc..

Clean property, clean rooms. Still has some construction going on inside. Breakfast option was okay, probably about as minimal as I’ve seen. We do a lot of traveling on I80 so we’ve checked out many hotels in a 1300 mile stretch. Floors were clean, felt good about the clean beds. All tables, mirrors, carpet and walls were nice and clean. Worth a little extra over other competitors in the area because of the cleanliness.

The breakfast manager was fantastic. Professional, So friendly. Bad time checking in. Construction guys used the luggage carrier and could not locate one for 80 year old dad. Front desk was beyond apathetic.
-
Staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable but the breakfast needs some real variety like some real eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits something very poor quality.

Overall, everything was excellent except for the fact it’s been rehab for the last year and it looks like there’s a lot to be done.
-
The breakfast was ok but they could of had sausage also, the bacon was as thin as paper and undercooked
-
The room was very clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Property was in the middle of an upgrade and would have been nice to know this before booking
