Comfort Inn & Suites Avera Southwest

Everything was fine.

We loved staying here. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was spacious. Even though the one queen bed had a significant lean, it was generally comfortable for a long weekend. The a/c was much needed and was super quiet. We will definitely stay here again. The location was great! About 10 min from everything wanted to get to!

Most everything was great. Staff was great, clean, breakfast was good. Hot tub was never warm, same temp as pool. Overall, great place.

Check in was easy…and we were greeted warmly. We found our room to be clean & ready for our arrival. The bathroom was well appointed and clean, too! The breakfast offered a nice variety of choices and was very well staffed. The hotel was convenient to the highway and to our needs.

The staff is friendly upon check in, and the room was clean. A staff member gave extra effort one morning to get the coffeemaker brewing when the breakfast server hadn’t been trained on that task yet and guests were waiting. Together they took the initiative to figure it out and get it going instead of waiting for someone else who wasn’t on shift yet. It’s showing some age, there was a hole in the wall of our room, the bathroom fan didn’t work, paint chipped on the walls, no stopper in the bathroom sink. Also no one cleaned the stairwells during the 3 days that we stayed.

Breakfast was sub par. Get in touch with Grand Prairie foods (its in Sioux Falls) and get breakfast sandwiches. Way better than some of the selections.

Our family of six enjoyed our stay here. Great, free breakfast, a good sized pool, comfy rooms. I would recommend to friends.
