Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Slidell by IHG

Coffee maker didn’t work, phone didn’t work, breakfast food was poor, stuck in elevator when I was checking out, no clean sheets second day. Check in my wife and I only towel, wash cloth, hand towel for one. No mat for floor when you get out of shower. Second day no clean sheets and no clean towels and etc. At check in no instructions on how to get on WIFI like password. Overall poor experience.

Housekeeping just walks in your room don't knock don't announce their self and nothing before check out which is unacceptable very unexcusable

Clean place. Convenient location. Good rates. I would recommend.

Desk clerk insisted on running my credit card even though I had pre-paid. Then on check out, he said I didn’t owe anything. I asked for a receipt and he said he couldn’t print one, nor did he offer to email one. He finally agreed to let me see screen showing the credit card charge to be voided.

There were cockroach’s in the bathroom and by the tv running around

The bed was comfortable The pool was gross it’s extremely old building that either needs a complete makeover or to be torn down and rebuilt

The elevator was dirty, and parts of the interior appeared to be held together with exposed screws. The carpet was stained. My room had a stale odor, and the floors felt oddly slippery. Most concerning, the door did not seem to lock properly, which added to my anxiety about staying alone.As a result, I barely slept. I spent the night feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. My concerns are not with the staff, but with the condition, maintenance, and security of the facility itself. Given the overall experience, I believe a full refund would be appropriate. I paid for a clean, secure, and comfortable place to stay while traveling for work and did not receive that experience. A full refund would the bright spot.

Despite a minor snag with our room, our stay was great! The staff at check in was super helpful and resolved our minor issue immediately!! Will book here again in the future if necessary!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property shows signs that work has recently been done or it is still in the works. The paint in the room was new but small details from the work needs attention. An inspector should check the work before accepting it as finished.

The property was nice. The hallway area smelled a little weird and unclean. I also wish i would have known the room was on the first floor because I hated that part of it.

Tired and needing some major love and attention. This hotel is very 'well worn' evidenced by the overall condition and feel of the place.

The room was very spacious Multiple staff had music playing on their cell phones. The lady that checked us in was not friendly at all and shuffling tarot cards. The toilet seat moved. It was suppose to be a handicap room and it was not.

The breakfast was not good. Our bathroom had hair in the tub and the sheets had some type of blood stains. Not the best, but the staff was friendly enough
