Super 8 by Wyndham Slidell

We have stayed here before, but this time, our room smelled horrible. Had a musty, moldy smell. Was not upkept well at all

Our hot water wasn’t working. But it was a nice stay.

Nothing The fact that there was bed bugs, pee stains on all the blankets, and the air conditioner didnt work properly.

They had plenty of lights outside so at night it was bright The TV picture was bad, the toilet seat was broken, the bed frame was broken, and they had a sign at the office stating that we might see termites in the rooms.

The big tub. The air conditioner worked very good And it was quiet. The toilet seat was broken. And we smoked outside. And rhey still charged us a the $250 fee for smoking in room. But we smoke outside. We smoke outside at our own home too. Nothing new. I Just found out today about the charge. Which is why I would never stay here again and be careful to about that charge. Cause it was not even close to being true

They pay a lot of attention to cleanliness, the housekeeping staff does a very good job. Amenities are very basic but sufficient, the free breakfast was improved to add toaster waffles but there is no protein (but there a Waffle House only steps away). Convenient location to I-10 and to the Slidell Old Town and city center (7-8 minutes away). Good value for the price.

Night check in was easy and pleasant. As was morning check out. Unfortunately expedia did not pass my full contact info.to the hotel, so they were unable to contact me and verify I was still coming for a very late check in. Rooms were clean and in good shape. It's a super 8, not the Ritz so have reasonable expectations...pool was drained (not an issue for us). We did not stay for breakfast. Easy access to highway and plenty of parking. Great experience

It was clean The breakfast served was not really breakfast jus cereal fruit and coffee

I liked the location of the room. The staff was friendly and got everything I needed. I got a room with a jacuzzi tub and the tub looks old and dirty. I didn’t like that the shower was in the jacuzzi because the steam from the shower made the floor sweat.

No pool, lot of yelling and cussing from other people, ice machine broken,

Great Location for Gas, Food. The Maids could have done a better job cleaning walls and doors.

Very convenient location and super easy to find. Great value and the front desk employees were so nice and helpful. Needed a place for the night and this got the job done Shower water was super cold and there were a few burn holes in the sheets :(

I didn't use laundry but there are laundry facilities there.

Needs some upgrades

Nice people very friendly. Room clean but could tell needs upgrades. Pool green. But it was nice for what we needed it for.

No ice machine

You could here the people next door thru the door as they humg out outside both rooms. Friendly staff though.

room was clean, staff was amazing. perfect check in, perfect check out. i have been coming here for years and will alway choose Super 8 Slidell to stay at!
