The door to our room did not lock from the outside

I wasn’t able to sleep due to the lack of cleanliness. I canceled my 2nd night and I’m still expecting my refund. The Manager Sam was helpful and the front at desk employee Rudy was nice as well. Unfortunately the hotel isn’t as good as expected.

-Hotel charged me 100.00 deposit as “hard charge” instead of temp auth hold. They did this so that my money was NOT released back to me at checkout. -Female staff member tried to discriminate about svce dog and yelled at me and hung up when i called

They should have a warning on the website that they're under construction. Most of the things are not available
-
Door knob fell out. Cabinet door broke off. Dirty carpet- possibly not been vacuumed.

It was under construction and the room was filthy, especially the bathroom. It was moldy and smelled like feces. In addition, it was difficult to get into the room as using the card key took several attempts in order for the door to open.

1. Staff: I have no words to describe the front desk lady……… speechless……. U I don’t even know where to start, just thinking about it makes me angry. The premises manager; gentleman with glasses, was nice. 2. Accomodations: Hallway smell was unbearable, I’ll leave it at that. Hotel was under construction but that didn’t bother me. 3. Wi-Fi connectivity: Since I was flying-in internationally, Wi-Fi connectivity is a must. Let’s just say hotel doesn’t have a wifi. Speedtest showed download speed of 0.85 Mbps and 0.0 Mbps for upload. Take a moment, let that sink in. 4. Room: There were few black strands of hair on white top sheets. There was an actual hole in mattress sheet. 5. AC: Loud enough to keep me awake all night. In wanted to stay objective for my feedback, I did take pics for points 3 and 4 above. In my opinion, the single most impactful thing that the hotel can implement immediately is, highly trained and professional staff. In all my years traveling around the world, I have stayed in much worse conditions, with way less amenities, but I still left with a smile because it’s the staff that makes your stay pleasant, safe and welcomed. Also, Expedia.ca is to be blamed equally here, for being disingenuous and inaccurate information on thier website.

The receptionist's (Mary) behavior was unprofessional and discourteous. We waited over 30 minutes for her to return so we could check in. During that time, my children were hungry, so they took a bag of chips from the shelf, which we fully intended to pay for during check-in. When the receptionist finally arrived, she did not apologize for the long wait. Instead, she immediately started accusing us of not paying for the chips and repeatedly asked us for cash, even after we explained several times that we would pay during the check-in process since we were already waiting in line to check in. Despite our explanation, she continued insisting on immediate cash payment. We were very disappointed with the customer service. In addition, the hotel was not clean and did not meet our expectations. Overall, our stay was unpleasant, and we will not be returning. We would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Everything was dusty and dirty. The booking offered free continental breakfast - there was no breakfast. The booking offered a workout room and pool. There were neither. When I checked in with my daughter there was no toilet paper in our room. The front desk refused to give us more than one roll of toilet paper and told us we would have to wait for housekeeping in the morning. Housekeeping never came to our room during our entire stay. And the side doors to the building were broken and left open all night and day. The pictures do match the property - do not stay here.

Hotel is very reasonable price but is under renovation and Its not recommend until it’s renovated. The worst part was that they tale $100 deposits even after paying rent in advance.
