Homewood Suites by Hilton Somerset

Exceptional

I got a suite which felt like a small cozy studio apartment. Everything was very clean and plenty towels. Has full kitchen: a stove, sink, and full refrigerator/freezer which is amazing, dish towel, dish soap, cups, utensils, plates. The vanity was outside the bathroom which I loved. Full size closet. Great TV. Room was dark for excellent sleep and I found the bed especially comfortable. AC worked extremely well. Has a decent size pool and jacuzzi, but did not use. Staff was very friendly. Has a mini mart with food and wine. Breakfast was the highlight. The space to eat was large with plenty seating but the breakfast was above average. Potatoes, biscuits and gravy, chorizo sausage, GREAT scrambled eggs and not watery at all, TACO BREAKFAST BAR with jalapeño, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa and tortillas (never seen this before!), granola with lots of toppings (cranberries, chocolate chips, shredded coconut, walnuts), bagels and toast, cereal, and a waffle maker. So many options- it was delightful and fresh! Breakfast staff was awesome and attentive and all the tables were wiped clean. Definitely felt safe. Area is close to a plaza with a pizzeria (that also had great food), a Dunkin, liquor store, and a Quickcheck nearby as well as major highways. There was also a basketball court. The hotel staff seems to take care of this place very well and I would definitely recommend/would stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Room was filled with gnats for both days. Breakfast was okay.

The room size was good. The hotel was in a good location. The bathroom was not cleaned well. There was hair in the shower. The sink clogged after being used. The grill didn't work. When asked for assistance, no one came. Was told that they were short staff. The hotel need to offer more options for breakfast. Need to have more non pork items on the buffet menu. More stations on the TV would be nice.

Definitely a one-night stay hotel as opposed to a multi-night endeavor. Our stay was 3 nights/ 4 days and the pool was poorly maintained and looked milky/ cloudy the whole stay— we couldn’t go in it because it was either in poor shape or “closed for maintenance.” Food stayed on the ground in front of the pool entrance for a few of nights we were there. Breakfast was okay. We were a party of 4 and needed fresh towels after the second day and we never got them.

It was a familiar place to stay at. Upon arrival to the room, it appeared that there were some issues because the drawers were open, cabinets were opened, the sofa chair was not closed.

Eggs were cold. Not fond I of the “community” butter and jams.

Only a pity that the gym room is very small and no air circulation that make the room very smelly 😏

Amenities We had a suite.There was no vent in main bedroom so it was difficult to cool the rooom from living room.Also there was no housekeeping service done.

Homewood Suites it very good place to stay for vacation or staying close by family and friends in Somerset. Place very clean and friendly staff the room very big for a suite they include some item for the kitchen and other you would have to buy but if I am visiting again this where I would stay I had a great birthday trip stay at homewood suites.
