Very good

Large, quiet, clean room. TV worked great, Wi-Fi did not. Thankfully bad Wi-Fi was the only issue but it did damper my attempt at getting work done during the time I was there.

Staff and hotel The restaurant tried to be a sports bar and a restaurant hybrid. Neither worked. Overpriced. Poor quality. I actually got sick overnight from the food. Usually, Embassy Suites has upscale restaurants. Not here.

My girls really enjoy the pool. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Great place to stay! Clean and friendly! Staff is always friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites near Notre Dame in Indiana. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the excellent breakfast, especially the cooked-to-order options. Everything was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The staff was another big plus—everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We also appreciated the convenient parking and the hotel’s amenities, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is great, especially if you are visiting the Notre Dame area. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We liked the place in general. All in all seemed perfectly in line. From our room to views to locations. The cleanliness and EV charging is very accessible! Thank you for the initiative! FYI: I left my Rivian coffee Tumbler during our stay last July 4-5- 2026. I emailed the staff and I get NO answer. That white coffee tumbler is very valuable to me because it’s a gift from my company the reason why I reached out! Rm 514 check out date 7-5-2026

Staff very friendly. Excellent room

Pool was freezing cold, no coffee before 7:30 am and the tile in the room was filthy. Way too high priced for what you got.

The hotel is has an excellent location, the building is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is amazing, we are totally coming back. There was nothing we didn’t love about this hotel!

Check in and parking were quick and straightforward. We were able to secure a night due to a last minute itinerary change. The hotel is also very dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for our family!

- Friendly people. There were many issues: - First, I stayed here already one year ago. When I checked out the receptionist did not want to give me a receipt for the day and said that Booking.com would provide it. After lengthy discussion, finally they gave me an invoice. - Second: I stayed here one year later, and the same issue happened. I’m not quite sure why you always have to fight with the Hilton Hotels, to get an invoice when you book with Booking.com. Yet when you have a discussion with them miraculously they can provide one. - Third: cleanliness: this is for sure one of the better hotels in South Bend, yet the room cleanliness is not on par with top chains. Bathroom, dust on the tv and the lights next to the bed: improvements are needed.
-
Perfect location next to the University of Notre Dame! Lots of food options near bye and the price was reasonable considering it wasn't a football weekend.
-
Cons: the room looked as if it hadn’t been dusted in weeks and the vents were dirty even though they were late checking us in due to housekeeping being backed up and our room was awaiting “inspection.” The bathroom shower was moldy in the corners and even though there were 5 occupants listed in the room they never left enough towels daily. Glass shower door which made it quite difficult for privacy with 5 occupants in the room. The ironing board was rickety and without any padding, so you needed to iron on a towel. When the elevator had been soiled by dog feces it took hours for it to be cleaned and it still looked and smelled foul.
