f you were looking for a place to stay in South Hill, Virginia, the Best Western Plus on Thompson is the epitome of southern hospitality. The front desk and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everyone greets you with a smile and looking to please you in any way they can. The breakfast is substantial and delicious with a variety of food choices I enjoyed it so much, At one point the breakfast attendant, asked me “How was the breakfast and was there anything they can do to make it better”. I was so impressed went back to my room and came back with a few bucks for the attendant’s tip jar. The rooms are clean, and in my opinion, the best place to stay in this area. I highly recommend this hotel. It gets an 11 out of 10 stars

Nice and clean place to stay while traveling. Restaurants nearby for convenience and varying cuisines. Young lady at check-in was very personable and welcoming! Certainly would stay here again if in the area.
