When we arrived, the person at the front desk was not very welcoming. The area behind the hotel where you park did not seem clean or well kept.

The Deluxe Queen room we stayed in was clean and well maintained, and surprisingly spacious. It had a huge bathroom as well as a separate living area with a microwave and mini fridge. Fluffy towels. All of the staff members I encountered were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. On the second day, just before noon, there was an unexpected city-wide power outage that affected not only South Lake Tahoe but areas all the way to Carson City, Nevada. With no way to get food in town—or even within a half-hour drive—we decided to leave a day early. I spoke with the front desk about checking out early and receiving a refund for the remaining night, and asked to speak with someone who could authorize it. The front desk contacted the hotel manager, Scott, who calmly and graciously approved the request. He assured us that he would process the refund as soon as the hotel’s system came back online—and he did exactly that. Great location, a comfortable room, and, most importantly, wonderful people to work with. That’s really all I can say!

Size of the room, but also paid premium money The carpet in the carpet stairs were not vacuumed. They were dusty old and haven’t been cleaned in forever. I can tell and I’m not a picky person so you can imagine how bad it is. It’s very outdated. Everything looks very outdated. The couches weren’t even matching in my suite. You definitely pay a premium for the suite as well, even though it’s not updated.

Big room, fairly comfortable bed, and clean-'ish'. Good price compared to other hotels in area, good location. Hotel could use a refresh, large stains on carpet (hall and room), blinds didn't work, bird's nest over front door needs relocated - walk quickly through the door so you don't get poo on your head!

The PostMarc is a fine place to stay. Room was extremely clean and housekeeping came upon request. Location is GREAT. The hot tub in the room was kind of cool, we appreciated that a touch. Overall would stay here again, no questions asked.

Great location, but hotel is in poor condition and needs to be remodeled.

Great location and friendly staff The room was rather dated and could use updating to more contemporary look. The TV remote could only be used if right next to TV - would t work from a distance. The WiFi is not good. I generally used my phone hot spot because the hotel wifi was extremely slow. Price is not bad but for the price you could find other places with a more contemporary feel.

Lights didn’t work. Toilet ran all night.

Location, price and jacuzzi. The mattress was broken down, the bathroom sink was clogged with paper, there was sticky soda on the bedside table and the floor was filthy.

Property was okay , close to restaurants and close to other things . Free parking on site Carpet was dirty looked filthy … Just not worth the price I’ve stayed in other places where I paid less and the hotel were more upgraded and more cleaner.

Nice room with confy bed..and frig and coffee pot that i could brew real coffee in. Very helpful staff.
