The Jefferson Inn Downtown Southern Pines

Location & live music Nowhere to sit in a queen room- no chair, couch, or desk. Both door codes I was sent were wrong and it took a while to find someone to help me get into the room. Loud utilities closet made sleeping with earplugs a must.

There was live music both nights and while some people might have found it too loud, I truly enjoyed the live band just outside my window. The same overflowing trash was in the lobby for my entire two-night stay. The hotel was maybe not as well kept up as I was expecting.

Jefferson cancelked my reservation because of broken water heater. Trying to get my refund but they will not return my call. Cancelked

Amazing location, walkable to everything in town. Poor/non existent concierge or customer service, non functioning AC and fridge, downgraded room with no notice or discount

Beautiful facility with a very swanky bar. There is no staff on site that I could tell, but they were very responsive to texting. The building is older, but renovated beautifully. While everything was beautiful in the rooms and the lobby was comfortable, the dresser was extremely dusty on the drawers, the small hand-held mirror had dust and hair on it and the baseboards were extremely dusty. So, cleaning wasn't quite up to par.

sheets were very cheap microfiber. bathroom was not very clean - hair in sink and stains in toilet.

Nothing Floor was covered in hair neither cleaned or scrubbed prior to check in

Location No hot water, shower handle fell off and landed on my foot, no soap in shower.

The rooms were spacious and furniture was nice. The bed and linens were super comfy. Loved the two cell phone chargers by the beds, a nice touch. For a boutique hotel in downtown Southern Pines that goes all out with Christmas lights, I would have thought at a minimum the Fall pumpkins outside the building would have been replaced by the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I was disappointed there wasn't a decoration to be found anywhere in the building. Its clear this is more of an Airbnb set up, rather than a "inn" as there are no staff on-site at all. Seems like a missed opportunity given the location. It also took a really long time for the shower to heat up (close to 5 minutes).

The absence of breakfast. The coffee maker was inferior.

Clean, quiet No staff so we were confused about how to check in.

We liked the location and easy check in. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. The worst was how excited they were that the lounge was now open. It was EXTREMELY loud with drunks screaming late into the night. We were there to sleep, not party.

Great location. Bar on site. Thursday night live music was loud and not very good.

Was so great to be able to walk to dinner from the Jefferson and then when we returned, there was a very cool band playing in their outside garden.bar area! Best location to stay in downtown Southern Pines (and it's my hometown) There was a clanging noise in the wall whenever the heat came on.
