Our room wasn't as clean as I expected. There were pieces of trash on the floor, the floor had a grimey feel and a pretty good size stain by the seating next to the fridge. We also discovered the duvet cover had just been laid on top of the blanket instead of the blanket being put inside. It just made for an unsanitary experience for us and our babies since this is usually our go to hotel because the beds are comfy and the ac works really well.

Had an overnight here. Nice big room, good beds & pillows. Casino was big and diner food was great. Staff was very nice everywhere. Recommended. Definitely good bang for the buck,

Walk around lake very good. Early morning. Later in evening Mexican restaurant one of the best Housekeeping. Please tip. They are amazing Wine in casino. Nah! Casino servers were lovely. Not like a lot of other casinos. They were pleasant and offered drinks often. Never won anything. Wanted to wheel of fortune. Money wheel. But that’s me!

The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations. A/C ran cold in the room - something you don’t find often enough!!! The Bellini Cafe shocked us both. We expected the food to be run of the mill hotel food - WRONG! Excellent food and service. Checked out and continued to go! Will be a repeat guest if in Reno area again.

If you’re booking through Expedia like I did and you’re going to get on a shuttle to the resort pictured which is the Peppermill resort not the other one here . Going to cost double the amount and you will not get a refund for the original cost of this hotel room.

Best hotel we have ever stayed in. Reasonable price. Don’t swim so didn’t miss the pool. There was a path around the Marina so walked 2 miles every day so didn’t miss the fitness room. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Old, hotel office in old casino next door, sink clogged - they tried to fix it by using a plunger in our sink (while we were there) and neglected to clean the sink after. It didn’t get unclogged with the attempt and we were so grossed out by that! The hotel is old and musty. Looks like they’ve tried to renovate but wobbly table by door, lamps didn’t give much light, everything smelled old. It’s an old hotel with a very outdated casino. Location is the one nice part of staying there. It’s right by the Sparks lake walking paths, beach, restaurants and shopping, but that’s about it.

Travelled with a pet. Room was great and clean. Very near a walking track around marina. Would stay again

I loved housekeeping. They were al says impeccable the room was clean. However. This rooms carpet was stained when we arrived but housekeeping kept room clean always. They always provided me extra coffee and water. Which it’s great to see they forsake m needs. Yes I tipped them well deserved

When we arrived I asked for a room facing the marina. I arrived a little early so the rooms were not full. I was given the last room on the first floor in the corner. I was looking at the parking lot. The room was for dog travelers. There were two clean dog bowls in the room. The room smelled so bad as soon as I opened the door. Straight like animal. I had to catch the maid in the hallway to get deodorizing spray which helped very little. The window was able to be opened just a crack so it helped. The last time I stayed the room was much nicer, a view and no smell. I got killed this time. The walk at the marina was very nice. The food inside the casino left little to be desired. Buy outside if possible. Will stay again , for the marina, but I will check my room first. Good thing I only stayed one night. Left there and went to the Peppermill in Reno for the next three nights. Fantastic!!!!!!!!

Marina was a nice touch. Shower was excellent! Air conditioner didn’t really cool off the room very well we opened the window and it cooled down at about 2 am couldn’t be in the casino smoke was so bad I had an allergic reaction we didn’t use the amenities due to smoke.

Staff were all very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Room location wasn’t great, next to elevator and dining ce machine. Restaurant was convenient. Price was good value.

Nice hotel and room. The full size shower was nice. Good water pressure. Sink area was small.

Clean room. Very fast check in. Got exactly what we asked for.

The staff in the amenities in the room were beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful. The room was extremely clean. The view over the lake was wonderful. It was very cool in my room, even though it was hot outside these people there all of them deserve high praise. And affordable can’t be matched.
