Sunrise Motel

The most dirty, dilapidated, uncomfortable, overpriced motel I've ever stayed in. The broiler broke down our first night there, the towels were stained, showerhead was chest level & I'm 5'5", no ice machine & there were no extra outlets for phones & laptops. First thought upon seeing room was 'please no bed bugs'. Would never go back nor recommend to anyone. Drive the extra distance to stay somewhere nice at the same price point.

Did not offer breakfast. Only thing to make this place better, is there were an ice machine.

Property is a mile or two from the strip. There is a neighborhood on one side that is safe and walkable. The other side faces an industrial area.

Nothing. This stay was terrifying and I will have to seek therapy for ptsd. Staying here was worse than staying in a haunted house in a horror movie. First off it was completely overpriced at $245 - there were not just a couple but MANY boogers on the wall, weed and tobacco in the drawer next to the Bible, the bed sheets and blankets had cigarette holes in them, tv didn’t work and the remote had bbq sauce stuck all over the keypad, the fridge had brown and yellow sticky stuff crusted all over and inside of it with pubic hairs in it, front inside window was broken, bathroom was dirty and had holes in the wall, there were red stains on the wall and table & tv were completely dusty, and it had a really putrid scent that the air conditioning just helped waft into the room more intensely. When we called management about the room they pretended to not speak English and just responded with gibberish. So we had to walk over and knock on their door until they helped us move into another room which was not much better. My coworkers who were traveling with me were absolutely terrified and couldn’t sleep. When leaving in the morning we all felt like we had just gone through the trenches of war and were going home with ptsd. You’d be better off staying in a hostel or sleeping in your car or even literally camping on the street than paying for a room here.

Everything was great. Booked room last minute for busiest weekend in Reno. Worked out great.

The gentleman who was overseeing the property delivered excellent customer service. He gave me the impression that he may be the owner. Walls, light switches, and chairs were dirty and stained. The hotel is old and could use some TLC. Doors lock with a key, yet the door knob was in need of repair.

Exceptional

Nothing the whole place was dirty and it’s not like cigarettes!

The carpet was wet near the door. A used shampoo package was left in with the other unused soaps and shampoo.

It was clean and it did not smell like smoke

Clerk helped us carry bags upstairs. Needed and asked for a ground floor room and it was given away to the customer right before us .

I liked that room had more places to sit than on the bed. Nice to have chairs! I didn’t like the way the host took my ID below the counter. I am suspicious he made a copy of it for some unknown reason. I had to ask for it back.

Bedsheets pillows very strong smell shower wall or bubbling and peeling with black spots broken microwave broken entry door paid --- for a motel that¿s worth 29.99 Shares sofa covered with nasty stains

bare minimum comfort, barely better than sleeping in car expensive, not worth the money at all. wifi was garbage. which was the only reason for my stay.

Pleasant

was next to freeway, also in a poor neighborhood. apartments across the street and people hanging out in street and parking lot smoking/drinking/etc. room was only in fair condition, beds uncomfortable. staff not very friendly.

I was stranded with out a suitcase. I asked the front desk for some type of backpack or suit case. I said I would give him $100. He gave me a pack pack. I gave him the $100. He declined to take the money and asked me to give the back pack to someone who needs it. I’m sending it back to them with a note that says “you have more of a chance with people stopping and going at your place” thank you for your kindness. If the ice machine was working. Assuming it’s going to be fixed soon.
