Travelodge by Wyndham Spirit Lake/Okoboji

Clean and nice exterior with pretty flowers. Interior was clean and bed was comfortable. Some minor maintenance issues loose toilet seat and AC unit had a loud compressor when it turned on.

My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.

I really liked the helpful staff. Very accommodating. The room was large enough for us and our pups. It did have a little damp smell to it. We were minutes from everything we wanted to see and do.

A very pretty little motel, nicely decorated. My only problem is that the big patch of mold on the shower ceiling could use some remediation.

It is clean. Nice clean bedding. Not fancy. Easy location. No breakfast but coffee maker in room.

Rooms were older but nice and they were clean. Went to have breakfast and it was very limited but what was there was ok.

I stayed here last year and was satisfied enough to plan to return. I think they changed name since and I luckily found them again. I’ll be back in August!

Our room was clean & fresh smelling. Staff was very friendly and polite. The only thing that we had issues with was that on king beds, the pillows were tiny, like couch end pillows. We didn’t eat breakfast, but it smelled very good.

The rooms were super comfy! Also great spot didn’t have to travel a long ways to places Parking spots were a little tight to park in. But other than that everything was great.

The staff were very friendly and always available. The breakfast was good. The motel was old but you could tell much of it had been renovated. The bed was very comfortable. Old motel, could use some more updates. There were cobwebs in door corners but it was summertime in a lake town in a motel with the door having direct access to the outside.
