The Oakwood Inn Okoboji - Adults Only

Excellent!

Nice room with a whirlpool (that we didn't use) adjoining a nice terrace (that we didn't use because it was so hot outside). Option for a couple of different breakfast times in the little dining room (7 or 8:30) or you could get breakfast delivered at 8am. It was homemade biscuits and an egg bake, which was tasty. If we return to the Okoboji area again some day, we would certainly consider returning.

A must stay if you are in Okoboji. Bears a Vrbo or any hotel if staying 2 adults. Close to everything. Breakfast, amenities and service top notch.

Very peaceful and serene stay. Beautiful outdoor gardens and relaxing areas. Rooms were well supplied to include a lovely shower steamer to help you feel refreshed. The Hosts/Owners are very accommodating and prepared to meet all your needs. Definitely will be a repeat stay.

Lovely spot tucked away but close to it all. Perfect place for us to stay while attending a wedding. Will definitely be back.

Perfection! From the moment we arrived, our experience was impeccable. Gorgeous property, kind and professional innkeepers, well-appointed amenities, delicious in-room breakfast, I could go on and on… Bill and Bridgette offer something very special here. We would never stay anywhere else in Okoboji.

Staff was great, owners were helpful in providing local spots, worked hard to keep our stay relaxing, other staff were timely in keeping quarters tidy and were friendly. Breakfasts (served to room) were fantastic. Location was perfect for the stay, allowing quick, direct travel to Arnold's Park and other points of interest (within a 10-minute drive with traffic). The garden area was picturesque. Den was a fun place to get out to when wanting to stay in. Service elevator (for breakfasts) was noisy, but excellent alarm for when your meal is ready.

What a great place! I arrived close to two hours before check-in time and was going to do some paperwork in my vehicle, but I was approached by the the owner who, along with his wife, was doing work on the beautiful landscaping. He asked if I wanted to check in early so that I didn’t have to sit in my vehicle. That’s how my day started and it really only got better from there. The grounds were amazing, the interior was amazing, my room was so clean and so comfortable, the patio off of my room was overlooking it park like view. I actually took pictures and videos to show my wife. The full service breakfast was awesome too. I’m in the area for business multiple times a year and will definitely make this my regular place to stay. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and they kept the coffee coming. The grounds are gorgeous. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. We had a lovely experience.

From the second you walk in until the minute you leave you are pampered and spoiled. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous and the grounds and gardens are immaculate. The breakfast was delightful with two wonderful courses of homemade food. The bed was fluffy and so comfortable..they also provide a comfy robe for when you are done bathing. I had a room with a veranda that overlooked the gardens,, listening to the birds sing was a bit of heaven. Bridget's complimentary chocolate chip cookies melted in my mouth. If you want to find a getaway that makes you feel special spend a night with Bill and Bridget at the Oakwood Inn,you will not be disappointed.☺️😊

Bridget made the most amazing breakfast each day and delivered them to our room. Great variety, interesting food, home-baked goods and wonderful coffee. Oh, and chocolate chip cookies to go at the front door! We'll be back next year.

The Oakwood Inn is a very nice place to stay! Clean rooms, wonderful staff, warm and cozy, and excellent breakfast. I really liked the family room in the basement where you can gather with friends or family and visit. I like how tea and coffee were always available. It felt like being in your own home. It's easy to get to and has a nice backyard/nature setting. The only thing I didn't care for was the music that played in the dining room most of the day that I could hear in my room that was over the dining room. I would definitely stay there again but I will reserve a room further away from the dining room. Otherwise, a very nice place!!

Loved the ambience, decor, music, and attentiveness from the staff. Some of the older people in our group struggled with the streaming technology on the tv, and needed help or just gave up trying to watch tv in their room.

Everything is perfect, is peaceful, the owners are very good people, and help you in everything you need. Great Location, super clean, the rooms are huge very comfortable. The all hotel is very beautiful.

Wish had cable as we do not understand streaming. Could not find regular channels.
