This is a decent place to stay. The location was great for us. We were there for a wedding in Deer Park and most of the out of towners stayed here. The staff was friendly and the room was clean but I cannot say much about the amenities as we were not there long enough to enjoy them. The reason for three stars was that when we checked in there was a man with piles of stuff including an aquarium just hanging around the lobby and breakfast area making everyone uneasy. When he was still there an hour later we were told he had until 4:30 to leave. He was still there later that night and the next day. When he was still around the next day and night we called down and were told he is a friend of the hotel. This is unacceptable and we will not be coming back to this hotel.

My first night I was woken by a very loud buzzing coming through the wall of my room 321. I didn’t notice it when I went to bed because of the tequila I had at my daughter’s birthday party. I could not get back to sleep so at 6:00 am I requested a different room. The gal at the desk gave me another room but did not check out the noise. When I finally woke I asked for another night to make up for the miserable night. The gal at the desk again did not check out the sound. She said she would speak with her boss. When I came back and asked if there were any messages for me ? Nothing. So I asked a third person and again I was told she would ask her boss. I never got an answer and none of the staff bothered to go listen to the horrible buzzing in room 321. The rooms were beautiful and so was the facility. The staff had no follow through and I had a miserable night. So I paid for one night of torture. Know one seemed to care. I was in town to play a show and it went well.
