Comfort Suites near Route 66

Room was clean and met our needs for the stay. Breakfast could have been better, it was the same meal every morning and sometimes it was luke warm at best. Otherwise hotel was comfortable and easy to get to.

This property was being renovated during our stay, but it was not an issue. The only negative was that the staff seemed unprepared for the number of people at breakfast, which left guests waiting 10-15 minutes for eggs and sausage links.

The staff were kind and helpful at the front desk, but the hotel overall didn’t seem super clean or well maintained. The photos online were deceiving.

The breakfast was pretty average for these hotels. Ths biggest issue on breakfast was no knives! someone could have made a trip to a superstore to get them. The pool and ice machines were closed down within 5 minutes of me checking the water temp on the pool. I would stay again but weird things happen!

I’m not really fussy about breakfast, but they must have run out of bread products. They had none. Also the fruit look very old.

I had read reviews that gave the place an excellent overall. I usually can count on that to be mostly correct. First thing walking in the door to the lobby it needed to be vacuumed. The glass on the doors needed cleaning. The shower was newer and nice but overall I’d say that the furniture and look was definitely not excellent. We tried the breakfast the first morning and ended up going out. The hot food wasn’t much of a variety and what they did have was mostly gone. There was nowhere to sit and going back to the furniture, the chairs at the tables were in need of replacement. Hate to be that person that is only negative but even though I will say nothing was gross, I’ll just say I was disappointed.

The staff was kind but not proactive. The lobby had a couple of teenage guests running around making a ton of noise. The room immediately smelled bad walking into it. The fabric chair and couch had stains all over them and the carpet was gross. The AC unit in the room had mold and calcification on it. Trash cans inside the common areas and outside the hotel were overflowing. I don’t know how this place got 9+ stars except that maybe it was rated by people who want to party hard at a hotel without consequences or cleaning up after themselves. We left immediately and just ate the cost of the stay because we figured it would be cheaper than the consequences of staying.

I had an amazing experience at Comfort Suites Near Route 66. The staff was very courteous, friendly, welcoming, helpful, prompt and pleasant. They personalized our suite by placing signs on our suite door and throughout the suite that said "Happy Birthday Jayshawn". Thus personalized touch really helped make my son's 11th birthday party/trip a success. Everyone we came into contact with was exceptional. I would like to give a personal thank you to Erica, Cassandra and Zack, you guys are the best! We will definitely book with this hotel again.

We had zero room cleaning while there. No clean towels ever

Rooms were large and everything was clean.

Staff were nice. Room was clean. Breakfast bar not that well stocked, but made do.

Staff was excellent, especially the person that managed breakfast alone on June20. That is a two-person job yet she was not overwhelmed, frantic or grumpy - she maintained her composure, smiled, and was attentive to everyone’s needs and request.

The breakfast was a good one too, it was a small buffet but with enough food. Everything was good!

The room was clean and comfortable! It was not the property shown in the pictures on the Booking site and it was under construction. I have pictures of what the site really looks like!

Quite, comfy It appears to have some type of renovation going on. Not drastic, but noticeable. Still enjoyed the stay.

Need to fix the ice machine on third floor!!! Also fix key card access on the two side entries , please for those who have to park far from the front entrance. Otherwise solid hotel choice for transient travel to see Springfield's Lincoln sites.

The place was clean and staff was friendly,breakfast was good when it finally arrived at 6:30.Does need some light maintenance.

Location was easy to find and it was quiet

Stayed for one night the pool was very clean. Overall the hotel was very clean. The front desk and check-in were super easy and nice and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful with a lot of protein options.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was under rehab and it created a messy area with paint and drywall mud spilled all over. The breakfast was terrible. Eggs, 2 types of sausages and waffles, the hotel was bombarded by little league teams. Food went fast slow to refill. Eating area was very small for the 3 floor hotel.
