Extended Stay America Select Suites Springfield South

Very convenient to the hospital. I wasn't a hospital customer, but it was still convenient for me. Walking to convenience store or restaurant is no problem, but I don't recall a lot of sidewalks in this neighborhood.

The room was definitely clean. It had a very strong bleach smell. Like ot had just had a terminal clean done. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in around the Springfield, MO area. No ice machine, the room did not have an iron, ironing board or hair dryer. No breakfast or any snacks to purchase. There was not any front desk staff on site from 10pm until 10 am.

Room needed to be updated and TV did not work well...but was ok

The first room smelled like cat/dog urine. It was disgusting. They gladly moved us to the next room over which smelled fine and looked clean. When we were leaving to go to dinner we found our door could not be locked. Room 3 was disgusting. Room 4 smelled somewhat better, but not great. The light in the bathroom did not work but the desk clerk was able to fix, We had no choice but to stay as we would have lost our money. This hotel needs serious updating and cleaning! Would not stay here again!

Room smelt horrible of smoke asked for another room. They said that we didn’t have any went down to desk said we’re leaving then they miraculously came up with another room available. It smelt better but it was not very clean. It had dead bugs platter on the walls and the hallway smelt like weed so bad.

ROOM WAS CLEAN AND HAD STUFF WE DID NOT NEED LIKE FRIDGE AND STOVE BUT THAT WAS OK. THE TOLIET PUGGED UP AND WOULD NOT TAKE POOP DOWN OR VOMIT. NASTY. NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE PROBLEM. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. THE BEDS WERE LIKE TRYING TO SLEEP ON A BRICK. SO HARD..

How the organization is well kept! All appliances are well clean and sanitized. (Restroom is phenomenal) How spacious the room is.

Location No luggage cart in the lobby most of the time & no cable in the room for the 2 weeks I was there

The desk space Cable didnt work for the 2 weeks that i was there.

It's a chill spot Expensive vending machines

The refrigerator did not work. The television did not work. The curtains were broken.

It was adequate to sleep but there was no soap at the sinks or dishes to use. We sat on the foot of the bed and it tipped up. The bed was not very comfortable but the price was right for a quick overnight stay.

Good location Room smelled musty

Decent location. Still haven’t received my 50 dollar deposit back and we checked out on April 26

But the kitchen had no pots pans or dinnerware at all. It had full size fridge two burners sink cabinets. I didn’t read through reviews so I don’t know if this was made known about being your own kitchen cookware and supplies. Bathroom had two towels two washcloths one soap. That was it. Room 101 had a very foul odor and I didn’t stay. I went to another hotel. I told the staff I couldn’t stay in that room and it was the last room. The staff were friendly and respectful. The manager refunded my payment in this room and that was good.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Kitchen was very helpful with my toddlers. Hotel was easily accessible. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My stay was great. Only problem my wife booked my trip while I was traveling from Houston, I wasn’t sure what time I would make it in. My reservation was cancelled due to me arriving the next morning past check in. I didn’t receive a call confirming I was arriving early morning they just canceled and it was a bit of an inconvenience especially after driving 12hrs.
