Motel 6 Springfield, OR - Eugene North

I liked that carpeting in rooms had been replaced with wooden or vinyl flooring, & the bathroom had been upgraded a bit. The property was well lit & generally quiet. Being a few blocks north of the main Gateway mall area was actually nice, more peaceful & relaxing. Two guys in a room a few doors down had apparently had an argument, & one guy had locked the other outside & kept saying "you are too frustrating to room with" while the other guy just kept crying out, "Let me in!" Not sure how they resolved it. I just went to sleep rather than get involved & try to mediate their dispute. Overall experience OKAY.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the room wasn’t clean. When you walked on the floor with no shoes your feet would get dirty. There were ants, couldn’t leave a drink or food out because they would be covered in ants. Reported it to staff and someone came and half ass sprayed but we still had ants.

AC only blew air, the control panel had been destroyed and I was unable to change the settings to cool the room. Unfortunately It was late and I was too tired to go down and change the room. I reported this issue to the management on checkout

have stayed here several times it’s OK for the price

never cleaned, no supplies restocked, and was told that I would have to walk my towels to the lobby to exchange them for fresh ones if desired. Other patrons were drinking and BBQing on a portable grill in the parking lot.

It was good needed that rest

Everything was great honestly this is the best motel 6 in which I’ve stayed. Lovely front desk staff, typical motel 6 room but it was clean and no sketchy people hanging around the building. Everything exceeded my expectations.

They offer coffee, but there is no breakfast of any kind not even fruit or cereals

It was alright. Clean. Basic.

Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner made loud grinding noises all night, however it did keep the room cool. Maintenance began working outside the room early in the morning which was not ideal.

Very nice employees on check, and service of room was great, but just a lot of garbage or broken bits outside and around the hotel, like needs caulking and paint jobs, lots of exposed wood and beams around the balcony looks sketchy. Otherwise it was a nice stay for the price and felt safe enough even with so many people hanging outside in the parking lot late at night.

There is no shampoo or hair dryer, which was disappointing after spending all day at Country Fair and want to wash the dust out. Other than that, my stay was quiet and relaxing, which I needed after a long, sore day. I forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping!! So sorry! I'll be back and leave a double tip next time! Thank you!

Our room had been updated and it was clean. No hairdryer, toiletries or coffee maker but there was coffee in the reception. The outside of property is run down abit but it is an older motel. Overall a good stay and good location.

Rooms were small but beds were very comfortable

The Air conditioning kept me awake. Couldn’t turn it off. Very noisy. Floors were filthy. Bathroom sink stopper couldn’t be adjusted so the water backed up. Lots of noise from other guests. Aid car was called for room close to me. Lots of very young guests. But very cheap.
