Quality Inn & Suites St Augustine Beach Area

We liked the breakfast and the staff was so nice and kind. The floors stayed damp and the refrigerator was linking water and not getting cold. Sheets were ripped. Room held a lot of moisture. No ventilation in room.

The staff was great. There were a few concerns. 1. The floor was wet and appeared to have been flooded. We had to walk on towels the first few days. 2. Outlets didn't work. 3. One day the warm breakfast was closed because the warmer was broken. There were lots of other options but since I was only having protein, I couldn't eat anything but peanut butter.

We had a great stay. Complimentary breakfast was satisfying with basics covered. Air conditioning was cold. Clean rooms with some minor wear and tear. Pool was nice but missing pool towels. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. We would do it again.

Ms. Vanetta, who checked us is was very pleasant and helpful -- a big plus. Other staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful, but unfortunately we do not know their names. When in the lobby area, we noticed the front desk staff was really very nice and helpful to all guests. The nearby beach is also really very nice, clean, wide, gentle taper (not crowded, but not isolated.) Going to the beach is about a ten-minute walk, but is mostly on a pleasant, elevated boardwalk in a wooded area, so very nice. Everything worked such as air conditioning, hot water, in-room refrigerator. Motel is clean and we were happy with breakfast -- we think most people would be satisfied with breakfast. This meets the we would stay there again test. If you have a car, the motel is close to two supermarkets and other shopping. For some reason, when running the in-room air conditioning (which worked fine) the floor in our room became moist and slippery. This is not a big deal, but one should be careful not to slip if one has the same experience -- we heard at least one other guest ask about the same is sue at the front desk.

#2 on his second morning there he was told that he had to move his vehicle by 8 AM because of parking lot maintenance. This hotel requires a five dollar parking fee if you booked your reservation through a third-party. Nothing was said about refunding his parking fee. Very disappointed in this hotel.

When we asked to switch rooms; the staff member who helped us said “oh it isn’t dry yet?” and gave us another room. The staff was very unfriendly overall, except for an extremely kind and courteous maintenance man. The desk clerk and the hotel manager were especially dismissive to our complaints and requests. And in our new room; the door would not close all the way after you left the room. You had to push it shut. The brunch was OK but very bland.

Great location in comparison to the beach. One can walk to the beach. Doors did not lock properly in first room. Had to wait for a second room.Bath tub had rust. Phone did not work and lock was not locking all the way. The only elevator was malfunctioning.

This is our favorite place to stay in Sy Augustine Beach. We especially live the beach access Because of the good price, this place sometimes attracts sketchy patrons, who constantly smoke cigarettes in all of the outside areas...there should be a designated area for that!, Also, maybe we didnt see it, but there should be an outside spigot to rinse sand off of human feet and dogs, etc. I'm sure the hard-working cleaning staff would appreciate that.

There were holes in my bed comforter. There was human hair on my shower curtain and in the hand sink. There was rust everywhere. The toilet was stopped from leaking by the staff stuffing toilet paper around the hose.

Rooms are dated the metal bed frames i kept kicking them and its loud.

The staff were very helpful and kind! We had a very large group and they did everything to make sure we were comfortable. Loved having the shower at the pool for after the beach!! The pool was also great to have!!

The room is nice and the pillows needs better one I was disappointed that I came in another room. The beds were not made yet so they moved us to other room which we arrived after midnight. We are so tired. Everything is good after that.

Elevator and free parking staff was not friendly
