Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center St. George, UT

The room was clean. Ample parking the staff was phenomenal. Unfortunately, I could not take advantage of the breakfast as I had to leave early.

The section of the property that my accomodations were located in, was a renovated business park of some kind. My room had a window, but it did not look outdoors, but rather into an open indoor corridor attached to the lobby. It was like living inside of a shopping mall. That being said it was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful.

Loved how clean the lobby was. Smells clean too. The staff was helpful and the free breakfast was awesome. Parking was close to our room and much appreciated. I would’ve given a better rating if my shower water was too cold and the bedding was all white.

Good for the money and the one night we stayed.

We got a room initially that reeked of old cigarette smoke. They did move us to a better room.

The hotel has a good location in St. George, and there are some opportunities for activities and facilities on site. While nothing was particularly impressive, the location and the available options were decent. Unfortunately, there were two major issues with our stay. First, check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM. We arrived on time, but were then left waiting in the reception for two and a half hours, until around 5:30 PM, before we could actually check in. Having a guaranteed check-in time of 3:00 PM and then having to wait until 5:30 PM is simply not acceptable. Second, we had specifically booked a Junior Suite, but when we finally got our room, we had been downgraded to a standard room. We were told there was some kind of problem with the pipes in the Junior Suite. While things can obviously go wrong, what was extremely disappointing was that the hotel offered no compensation, no upgrade, no refund, and no meaningful apology for giving us a significantly different room from the one we had paid for.

Nice location. The pool and the hot tub were fun. We like the mini golf. I arrived to check in at 3:00 pm. The room I requested wasn’t available when I arrived. It wasn’t going to be available for three more hours. I decided to accept a lesser room.

Location is convenient and easy to get to. Property is comfortable and clean. Rooms are a bit outdated.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but last peoples towels were left hanging behind bathroom door. Wish we would have had time to enjoy the pool. Will stay again.

The breakfast was ok, and at least had sausage, scrambled eggs and waffles, with yogurt, cereal and basics. It was a nice value, with a mini golf ⛳️ too.

Hotel was convenient and amenities were great. Loved the hot tub, pool, basketball courts and mini golf. Cleanliness was decent with the exception a few long hairs every now and then and some buildup around pipes of toilet. Beds and floors were great though, would stay again for an overnight trip.
