Red Roof Inn St George, UT - Convention Center

This was by far one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. The front desk was unprofessional with customers as we were approaching for help to check in and the room had a very loud AC unit that didn’t work properly. An extremely dirty ironing board was hanging in the room. There were old thin towels that should have been used for rags. A ring in the bath tub. I feel like when you stay at any hotel, you should feel special, you pay to have certain kind of service and accommodations. Please consider this review before your stay here.

Love the cost, simple checking in and close to everything.

No breakfast. Pot odor, stained hall carpets, walk in the room and it's clean , but bottoms of door and wall and wall corners need painted. Makes it look dingy.

Check is in very difficult. if you booked thru a third party (hotels.com etc) you may also find it challenging to check in. The staff there might have been new maybe but they were unfamiliar with how to process the virtual card that third parties provide at booking. Because of this, the staff said we hadn’t paid yet, and then said it was because my CC had declined but I did have the invoice from Hotels.com, my CC statement and a hotels.com representative who tried calling to assist them with the virtual card payment however they couldn’t hear the rep and then the second time they called they put them on hold and then hung up. After about 30 minutes, they had us checked in but I could tell it was hectic for them and stressful for us. Overall, the room was fine for the price we paid. We paid under $60 and needed a pet friendly room so I can understand that those aren’t always the nicest rooms but for sure not the cleanest motel we’ve stayed in. Shower water was luke warm - but again we paid very little for the room and only needed it for a quick sleep so you get what you pay for.

Great location! No breakfast. I had a room under workers that were living there. The room wasn't like the picture. The T.V. wasn't put back on the wall and the floor needed a deep cleaning.

The hotel itself was filthy. The lobby the carpets were stained there were stains inside the room. The staff said one day that I didn’t pay for the room in which I did.

It was a place to sleep for one night, the bed had strange stains and the faucet was so loud. When walking in through the hotel it had a strange smell, I think its pet friendly for a reason so if you have an animal it might be a good pick!

Conveniently located to I15 & lots of restaurants etc. if you are looking for a cheap clean place to stay - this is the place. We were there 3 nights. We got back at 2 in the afternoon on our first day and the room hadn’t been serviced so my husband went looking for house keeping. Finally found someone so just took some clean towels & same thing happened the next day so room was never serviced while we were there.

Disappointing

The property was near everything and walking distance for restaurants, coffee, stores, etc The entire staff were amazing and helpful. The flooring in our room was very dirty. My 3 yr old granddaughters feet were absolutely black within minutes of taking her shoes off. Wires and cables exposed above the tv. And, room could use a fresh coat of paint as walls were dirty especially around doors. We found a couple little bugs on one of the beds too.
