Bellwether Beach Resort

No, microwaves in room or common areas to warm up food bought at the premise or neighboring restaurant. Asked for a microwave to warm up food for lunch and received it 5 hours later. I went 3 times and offered to pick it up and carry it to my room or a common area.

Amenities Condition of hallways and elevator need upgrading

The pool, beach, roof top restaurant were absolutely amazing! Unfortunately the elevators were out of order during our stay.

Lobby was cute Room was musty. They set temp at 64 when I arrived so I didn't know until it warmed up to a normal temp. Bathroom was poorly caulked and the grout was dirty. Having to use the service elevator for the first day was not good. Stinky and hot. Hallways were hot.

The location is perfect. The resort staff is very nice. The hotel was clean. The elevators did not work a majority of our stay. I felt like the pool area could be expanded, and the girls taking orders on the beach could have been more attentive.

I enjoyed the room, and staff was friendly and helpful. I did not like that one of the elevators was out of service my whole stay. That made the wait for the working elevator long.

comfortable bed The room was not cleaned for three days. on the second day I told the reception about this and asked to clean the room. when we returned to our room in the evening, it was not cleaned and even the dirty towels were not changed.

The location on the beach was perfect. It was lovely to have sunbeds and a cabana each day. The room was spacious with effective air conditioning. The beach bar had a great selection of food and drinks and the rooftop bar is worth a visit for the views. All of the staff at Bellwether were very friendly and helpful. We were unlucky that the lifts and swimming pool were out of action during our stay.

Walked stairs most of time because of line waiting for elevator, or service staff using.

Good for breakfast/lunch. Great information (txt) about things going on during the day. We liked free beach chairs and free parking. The (partial) view was terrible looking at huge pipes from the electric/ air conditioners. No way I could sit outside and enjoy my time off. One elevator was broken since 4 weeks.

The location was perfect. On the beach. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Plenty to do. Our new favorite family spot. We had a couch in our room but no chair and the TV was positioned in a way that you could only watch it while laying in bed. Maybe have the ability to angle the TV.

Great beachfront location. The hotel's dining options are good and comprehensive, both on the beach and on the building's top. Although the St. Pete Social café closes quite early (5pm), the Bongos bar has extended hours. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has 2 elevators available for guests. One of them was out of service throughout my stay, causing a bottleneck for guest traffic. These vital services should have near-immediate maintenance/repair service, or the hotel should have a more effective contingency plan. The hotel, in general, is in good condition, although there are aspects that should be improved: the hallway carpet should be replaced, and the filters and air conditioning vents were visibly dirty. The rest of the cleanliness was okay. The beach service is good. The pool is a bit small when the hotel is at high occupancy.

I was Furious because of the roof deck was not open the only reason we went there over something else.
