Room: Clean. Very clean. Staff: pool staff were friendly n helpful. Salty's bartender (female) maybe can be little but nice since we also paid 20% tips for every drink we purchase. Other: I wish they told me in detail by email which type of balcony room that i was upgrading. Got room 2238 which balcony is only 45cm length and noise in the morning from staff's talking near laundry room or sth. Overall, the place was amazing.

The property itself is amazing. Right on the beach with lots of activities and pools. Never felt too crowded. The rooms are not great. There is very little commodities in the rooms, very small and out dated. You can hear everything from the living room areas. Quite a few extra taxes added on and $25 a day for parking. It is advertised lots of free activities on the resort, but you’re ultimately paying for the activities with all the high charges. Food cost on resort is outrageous- every drink is at least $8 minimum. The location is the best part of the resort but the rest is just average for the cost.

The pool side service with drinks and all is 🔥🔥 if in this area I recommend staying here. Been a fav since I was a kid.

Really good experience. Definitely recommend if you’re wanting a fun beach stay in st Pete!

The hall to our room was dirty, bags of trash across my penthouse front door and chairs as if it was a alley where people hung out not to mention a dark light lighting the hallway to our room - didn’t feel safe especially with a roof entry door in same hallway - I’m assuming that light is dark due to turtles but perhaps tinting the window is better that making the hall dark thus feeling unsafe to to send wife alone to the room specifically in the night time - mind you I did report it to the front desk and they were very apologetic and showed concern but the first impression was still a negative one

You are right on the beach and everything you need is on site

The hotel is nice but not for the price I paid. The suite was small and I found it to be uncomfortable. The kitchen was tiny and when you open the sofa bed it takes all the room from the living area except for the table and it’s very close to it no room to move around. It’s a decent place with friendly customer service but pricey for what it is.

Good ambiance everything is beautiful. Food is expensive , alcohol is expensive your better off going outside of the resort great bar scene and great restaurants for cheaper than the resort.

People drink cigarettes everywhere even inside the pool, they don’t follow resort policy, need stricter management Other than that, All good ( family- friendly, beach, food, activities, different options)
-
Nice activities especially for family. Very dated. Sofa had large cigarette burn. Tub stained. Simple Update would make this stage to excellent grade. Concept is nice. Lobby great and smells good. My room disappointing.

Trade Winds at St Pete was a great stay! Rooms they need updating, but the location on the beach was perfect. Great restaurants! The staff was very pleasant to talk with! We’ll be back for sure!

Fun resort! Not top shelf quality, but a resort for normal people and their families. It's ON the beach. Beautiful beach. Lots of public spaces for sitting, hammocks, chairs, etc. So much to do. We had the beach front villa, which had the best view - we could see our room from the beach loungers, and go back and forth from the room quickly. The on site restaurants are all surprisingly good. Especially the Italian one. Everything was clean, always clean beach towels available, nice staff everywhere. Very family friendly, so loved that the most. The big slide is free and fun! Room was smaller than expected but beds very comfortable and clean. Biggest complaint is the room doors are outdoor...like a motel entrance which definitely cheapened an expensive room. Parking is $25 a day on top of thr resort fee. which is always ridiculous if you're staying at the hotel. It was hard to sleep before midnight both nights we were there, the normal fun family oriented pool area by the room seemed to turn into drunk parents being loud at night, though nothing crazy or unsafe, just too much fun, etc....but loud. It died down by midnight. Overall good stay, but not satisfied with the room quality for the price.

The location Our room safe did not work and I reported the issue to the front desk the first evening of our 5 night stay. On the 4th evening I received a text message from the hotel asking me if the safe was fixed. I texted back that the safe was still not working and that a technician did not come to our room. Also, there were 8 high school graduates in the room next to us who were extremely loud and they made banging noises on our shared wall. I called the front desk, but the noise continued for the duration of our stay. We specifically selected the resort due to the family friendly reputation, but it was not what we expected.
