The first story rooms are all renovated, clean and beautiful. The courtyard is wonderfully idyllic and we loved the live music at Jimmy B's. The Beachcomber is becoming out go to spot when we are craving a beach adventure break.

I've been coming to the Beachcomber for years and I love the St. Pete Beach vibe. The Beachcomber has always been one of my top choices for places to stay. It's not the cleanest and the rooms do have that mothball smell, but haven't seen any bugs so I'll take the mothball smell over the bugs! On this particular stay, I did have some issues. Biggest issue: Parking on Friday and Saturday nights. Coming back to your hotel and not being able to find a parking spot when you are charged $38 daily resort fee that includes parking is frustrating. Years ago, before Milton and the remodel, they used to have staff manning the parking lot and making sure you were a guest if you parked there. Now, it seems there was no one monitoring the parking or enforcing it. Housekeeping: They say they only offer housekeeping every other day unless you ask for it. So we asked for it. One of the best things for me about staying at a hotel is coming back to a nice freshly cleaned room. One day we asked for it as well as asked to change the sheets (because you have to ask for that, too), we came back after a long day, struggled with parking. Terrence at the front desk was probably the only friendly and nice front desk guy. The other ones didn't seem to care if you were a guest or not and were not at all helpful. We get to our room and no service. It's 11 at night, we have food in our trash, dirty sheets, but that was how we slept. Amenities hard to access because no staff. Hope they impr

Nice short walk to the beach and beautiful sunsets

I’ll start with the negative… amenities said we’d get 2 bottles of water, we didn’t get any. I even bought one and the guy ringing me up could have said something. Went down to get coffee at 10am and they were out. No maid service for 4 days. We had to take towels off the maids cart parked around the corner. She came and got our over flowing trash when we found a worker and told him. Other than that, we ate at the Tiki bar a few times which was very good. The drinks were good. We always got towels, umbrella and chairs. And I loved that I could get all the ice I wanted. I would definitely come back.

The main lobby is well kept and smelling awesome. The staff were cordial but a little stiff (no good morning or hello). The site is situated in a pleasant area pools and beach great. The caretaker of the chairs and umbrellas on the beac, LJ superb!

So without a desk or a coffee table kind of hard to eat take-out. Otherwise place is okay, but too many loud obnoxious people at the pools. Just not my kind of scene. I like quieter vibe.

Did one night. Room was clean, front desk was very helpful. Looked a bit older than in the pictures. Due to rainy weather did not have a chance to check out the beach.

This was a perfect little getaway for our girls trip. Right on the beach, close to other restaurants and shops & having the beach chairs and umbrella everyday was a plus! Highly recommend and would stay again!!

The staff was great! Our room well, the outside chairs were located on the slant which made for a very uncomfortable seat!

Had a blast. Didn’t get enough info the first day I guess so didn’t know where pool towels were but definitely a good stay

No elevator to 2nd floor. Had to ask for a room cleaning 5 times. Get beach towels early because they run out fast

It was everything that was promised to us. There was a beautiful lobby with friendly staff that remembered us daily. The court yard was also beautiful and well maintained. I loved how they had tons of community chairs, hammocks, and a center fountain. Each room had 2 personal chairs as well. We could walk up right to our room. The room was clean and cool. The AC worked fine. Everything worked good. They had a mini fridge and bucket for ice. The bathroom was private. The sink water had no pressure, but the shower did. The water was the temp we wanted. We did have to ask for room service a couple times, but when they did come, it was good. They cleaned up well and removed sand. The access to the beach was awesome. They had chairs and umbrellas ready for us. The beach attendant was also nice and remembered us daily. The bar with music was great too. We never used the sunset photo booking, but I loved that it was an option. They also have great vans that will take us anywhere on the beach for free. Prevents us walking too far, taking an uber, or going anywhere not sober!! I loved every bit of this place and we got a great price on it. Next time I'm in St Pete's, I need to come back here.

Close access to activities. The complementary chairs and towels are a great bonus. Jimmy Bs was very good and the live music was fun and interactive!
