On the downside, the pool is showing its age and could definitely use an update. Our biggest disappointment was the room. We were expecting an ocean-view balcony, but instead were given what was described as a "Juliet balcony," which wasn't what we anticipated and didn't provide the experience we were hoping for. Overall, the resort has a lot going for it thanks to its prime beachfront location, great dining, entertainment, and exceptional staff. With updated pool facilities and clearer expectations about room balconies, it would be an even better experience.

Traveled with kids/family, elevators not working, asked for towels + water to be brought up and they never were, room phone did not work. Disappointed for booking a 'suite'

If you go there for the fireworks on July 4th, don’t. We were told we would see them from our beach front patio, didn’t happen. I won’t return

Hotel needs some maintenance. Elevators were very slow, buttons didn’t work well, interior was very warm, AC didn’t seem to be working in some areas (room was fine). Beach and pools were nice. They understandably closed the pools during lightning but seemed to extend the closures beyond what was necessary after area was clear. Parking seems ample but crowded and a little remote due to the restaurant. Some spaces are narrow.

When I checked in, Debbie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She also works the sister resort, The Tradewind next door. I walked over and had questions regarding available showers for guest checked out but still spending time on the beach and Debbie was helpful with that amenity. One of the issues is the fact that there is public beach available in front of the guest chairs/umbrellas on the beach. You pay an upcharge for the front row, and you have the public with tents set up in front of you. Also, the Hilton Garden next door allows their DJ to play music and DJ so loud that you can hear it on the entire beach at the Rumfish. The system of standing in line in the morning is painful compared to the old system with the app on the phone for reserving chairs/umbrellas. Also, not that I use the pool, but there were more kids in the adult pool then adults. Finally, ice machines need updated so that there is ice available after 9:00 am.

Walls were pretty thin and room was dated

Espectacular la playa muy tranquila para descansar

Fantastic resort to stay at! They have a sister property just two buildings over that you have use of as well. So many things to do on the resort, you really don’t need to leave!

Great and friendly staff! Hotel well maintained.

Room was dirty, the phone in the room not working, we notified, the person call abd never fixed, we couldn't call room services or call for mor linen o answers question with the from desk for that. Insufficiency activities for 4th the July, no fire work.ac not working properly.

We noticed several people just taking advantage of the resort without being guests. There were kids on the adult pool with a large family and coolers and they did not seem that they were all guests. Security should be enforcing better so the paid guest can enjoy the resort without feeling unsafe.

The bell hop was VERY RUDE and wouldn’t allow us to use a dolly to get groceries in and even move our jeep doors inside. I asked nicely and he legit told me umm no you cannot borrow this and no I cannot help you move the doors. (Fine whatever just let me borrow the cart.) Also, I was told that we could have our own chairs, bought them and the same bell hop refused to bring them up and said you cannot have personal beach chairs- that was a lie. The whole place was filled with them. The last day, there was an employee that legit lost her crap on people, they called the cops it was a whole mess. I would NEVER stay here again.

A great place for families. Rooms are small but that’s ok! Cortez at the sandbar was the best! Love that the beach chairs and umbrella come with your room- just plan on waiting at the hut for them to set up! Pools are small.

Nice room, nice staff and great pool and beach views.

Older facility and therefore some things are dated and bit worn. The complex is spread out so never feels crowded. Staff just sometimes seemed uninformed of their own facility and the app only worked sometimes. But it was still a nice visit - great place for families with kids!
