Fantastic experience!
-
Awesome as usual. My favorite hotel in the city.

There was a strange smell in the room, perhaps a harsh cleaner. Other than that, everything was great. It's a stylish property in a convenient location.

The AC in the kitchen part of The suite that we had didn't work right. could not get the room to cool down.. the TV remote the back cover the batteries kept falling out there was no cover on it! the swimming pool really seemed like it needed chlorine it seemed like it needed to be clean other than that everything was great love the location

The room, though clean, smelled a little misty and old. The waitress at the Tap Room next door was impatient and negative.

Was a cool place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful property. Close to great restaurants & the Ray's stadium

The location was so convenient. And it was nice and family friendly and quiet, while still having the convenience of having amenities at Hollander next door. My family and I all agree that we would definitely stay here again.
-
Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Nice location and free parking is a plus. My only issue was the room smelled a bit moldy.

I recently stayed at the Avalon Hotel from July 21-24. My experience was truly exceptional. The hotel exudes good vibes from the moment you walk in, assuming you finally find the parking lot. The décor is charming, with no detail left unthought of—even the typical hotel signage adds to the overall aesthetic. Everything was spotless, reflecting their attention to cleanliness, & the staff were consistently friendly & welcoming. One of the highlights of my stay was visiting the hotel next door, which is under the same owner. I went there a few times for dinner & drinks—it felt like stepping into a top-tier restaurant & bar. The staff were highly professional, & every drink I had was excellent. The bartenders have a real talent for intuitively crafting drinks that suit your taste, often presenting something new & exciting each time. Gaining the amenities at the more expensive location nextdoor is a huge bonus perk. It’s a 5-star resort level stay at a fraction of the cost. The Avalon Hotel itself felt like coming home after a day out. This experience was easily on par with a true five-star hotel, & the staff, both at the Avalon & the neighboring property, were the ones who made the difference. I will absolutely be returning & highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a standout stay.

Room was really clean and comfortable. Close to a lot of things to do and see. I’d stay there again.

The bad news is: parking is minimal for the amount of rooms in both hotels. It was actually really inconvenient. But, for the location, nestled in residential, it's tough to open up any more room. Good news is, the bed is comfy, A/C works and it is clean as a whistle. There is nowhere to hang towels (they definitely need to install hooks - I was on third floor) but that's pretty minor on my list. There IS an elevator. It's tiny. The furniture looks like old luggage, and it was custom-made. It's got a very trendy vibe. Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. every single day at the Hollander and it is delicious and inexpensive. The mixed drinks are very reasonable. And the vibe at the Hollander is over the top as well. Lots of art, lots of pleasant staff to help out any time at both hotels. I enjoyed my stay, and it wasn't a chain hotel.

Had a room right at lobby and it was loud in the morning. If I go back would ask for a room further away
-
Super friendly staff & they have free water at the front
-
A very nice place to stay. Close to the downtown area, walking distance. My 2nd time staying there. I will go back.
-
Very cool hotel. Close to everything. The restaurant right next-door was amazing! Will definitely stay again.
-
There wasn’t a mini fridge in the room but outside of that, it was a great stay.
-
Would definitely recommend this property for the price.

My stay was great! The staff were courteous and helpful, the lobby and room and were super clean. My only complaint is that my room had a couple of mosquitos. I stayed on the 3rd floor with no open windows so I don’t know how the buggers got there! I got bit (they always love me) and they liked to hang by the shower so I knew how to find them! Overall I had a great stay and would stay again.
