such a wonderful place to stay at :) although i was there for a night, i definitely felt a difference in environment than than a chain hotel. it’s cozy, homey, and the woman at the front desk was so, so nice! the location was great, in walking distance from a public and cvs and while i waited for my room - there was a saturday market going on right behind the building! definitely helped kill time and get breakfast while i waited, i requested an early check in and was accommodated quickly. best night’s sleep i’ve had at a hotel so if you plan on staying overnight in st pete, i definitely recommend staying here! thank you!

The little social event at 5pm every day was another nice bonus: one glass of wine or one beer on the house. We never had breakfast, because we are early risers and had left before it was out. Also you can walk downtown and to the pier and enjoy your drinks without worries how to get back. Super convenient and nice walks. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone coming to St. Petersburg.

This was my second time staying at The Inn on Third, and it was as excellent as my first trip. Staying here is like staying in a friend's home. Sure, the rooms are on the small side and the tv in the rooms are also small, but there's a continental breakfast in the morning and an evening social from 5 to 7 pm each night, with your first beer or glass of wine on the house - and others beyond that only $2 each. Brian and Stephanie make everyone feel right at home, and it's terrific to sit in the lobby area (more like a living room) and talk with other guests. Both times I was there to see my White Sox play the Rays at Tropicana Field, and it's a straight 25-minute walk to the stadium - with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops along the way. Love this place - and can also highly recommend the Voodoo Brewing Company right around the corner; it's also staffed with incredibly friendly folks, has an excellent selection of beers, and has a menu of beyond-bar-food.

The atmosphere is peaceful, the location is excellent, and the attention to detail gives the hotel a lot of personality. If you’re looking for a place with charm instead of a generic chain hotel, I highly recommend staying here. I would definitely come back.

The rug is horrible very old and smells bad The beds were however very clean and the breakfast was just ok I understand it’s an old building but the staff could have been a bit nicer and helpful . I Am not coming back it’s was nah :experience couldn’t wait to get out of there And I don’t understand how they have 9.4 points really Maybe it’s was bad luck for me

I loved staying here! Not a fancy sterile hotel, but a warm comforting Inn. This was just what I needed at the end of the day in downtown St Petersburg.

Great location friendly staff and can walk to just about everything. Highly recommend

It was older, but very clean and quaint. We had a wine and beer before we went out at their social hour and a continental breakfast in the morning. It was in walking distance to restaurants and activities. The staff was very friendly. We will come back.

Clean room, friendly staff, good choices for breakfast

I booked this stay based on the impressive 9.6 rating and accolades on Hotels.com, but unfortunately, my experience didn't match those expectations. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the AC worked great. However, the property feels seriously dated and doesn't look like the current website photos. Our room had a very musty odor, and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and scratchy (the linens felt like sandpaper). It has potential, but the comfort levels just don’t match a premium rating right now.

The location was perfect. Bryan was a fantastic host, he made us feel like we were regulars when that was our first stay there. Will definitely stay there again.

Absolutley Charming Inn! Perfect location for downtown St. Pete with very nice antique funishings, evning beer or wine and a nice continental breakfast with wonderful coffee served in real dinnerware not paper cups and plates.

I really like this inn. It’s older and it doesn’t have any amenities like a pool or fitness center, but the owners are so wonderful and the breakfast is really good. It’s kind of an old fashioned place, so older furniture and wall ac units. But it comfortable, a great location, easy and a really good price for downtown st pete. The owners make it special.
