Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown

Our check-in experience was a delight with Henrietta sharing fabulous details about the 100 year old hotel. She also poured us a glass of prosecco to welcome us. It was a great touch. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the beds were definitely a step up from the standard Courtyard. The only negative was that the lobby bar/restaurant was not staffed our first evening and that was the only night we did not have dinner plans.

Very gracious and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean.

I am very sick from the mold in this hotel. I have asthma and am very thankful my second party only got a cough and minor symptoms vs me on the way to the hospital. I tried to go down in complain no one was at desk at night, so I checked out early and am headed to hospital. Please beware especially if you have children or a history of asthma . Other than the mold which ruined my health and vacation, the bistro which is the only place that offer to eat and have coffee downstairs wasn’t open today unless someone jus wasn’t there either and Sunday as well .

Expedia changed the date on me and the property wouldn't let me change it to the correct date. They just kept my money and would not give me a room.

Elevator was busted but a pretty solid stay other than that.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hotel itself was very clean and inviting. You can tell they take pride in keeping the property in great condition. Parking was an additional cost and breakfast wasn't included, but that wasn't a dealbreaker for us. There were plenty of delicious restaurants and breakfast spots nearby, so it was easy to find great food. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area!

Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel, staff and room was nicely kept and furnished. The historic building has some quirks however. We stayed in a suite, with a separate bedroom from the living space. Each space had its own thermostat, nice but unnecessary. The noise the machines make to click on is loud, with a boom that continually woke us up throughout the night. I realize this may be unavoidable but it was very difficult to sleep with both machines clicking on at different times. Other than that, our stay was good.
