Prime location. Clean, cool AC. Front desk staff seemed barely there, not very friendly or engaging. Good price for a clean place to sleep downtown.
-
The air conditioning work very well, clean room was a plus. The staff was friendly and let me know about the daily hot breakfast.
-
The room was clean, staff nice, and really close to the pier, walking distance.
-
The room was just an average room. Couldn’t get the air conditioning to get cold enough. The nearest parking available was 2 blocks over and cost me $34 for the night. The person at desk gave me directions to the parking by saying straight down which it wasn’t. As for amenities, there aren’t any except vending machines. Overall I will be going with a different hotel next time

The property is excellent. Have a good staff especial Randy the manager and the front desk staff. The ubication es great. A lot of place to go walking distance. The units area very good and very clean.

Me and my kids stayed there for a couple days while visiting family. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The price was decent, and you’re close to everything. Overall, it was a pretty nice place. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Great location

Don’t forget anything at the hotel. Trying to get it back is nearly impossible. Haven’t gotten a straight answer for three days

This is my third time staying at The Galaxy Hotel. One with my family and two with my partner. The service its's excellent and the staff is wonderful, especially Randy the manager and the front desk attendance Paula and Fatima. The rooms are very comfort and the bed is verry good.

Very clean, modern and fantastic location.

Hotel was great. Biggest disappointment was the fact that did not have a parking space and I had to use a city lot a block away that cost me $45.
-
I asked for an extra blanket & was told they could only get them during the day. I should be able to get a blanket at night. There were also bugs in our shower.
-
Arrived at 1pm, told our room is ready .. if we wanted to check in now we had to pay them $80.00 or wait for one hour. Not a very welcoming experience for the first time there. Also, parking is limited to only a few spots on site, otherwise you’ll need to find a spot somewhere else.Total experience was okay, probably suggest looking elsewhere.

The only negative thing is no onsite parking. The nearest parking garage is about 4 blocks from the hotel, no big deal other than having to haul your luggage to and from the parking garage.

The only issues we experienced weren't major, but they're worth mentioning. On our first night, the A/C wasn't cooling the room no matter what temperature we set it to. We notified the front desk, and they had it fixed right away, which we really appreciated. The refrigerator was another issue it never got cold enough to keep our food and drinks properly chilled, even after adjusting the temperature. The room was mostly clean, but we were disappointed to find a syringe in our room and another one in the hallway, which was definitely concerning. One thing future guests should know is that the hotel has a lively atmosphere, so expect to see people partying around the property. Also, parking is limited. If the main lot is full, you may have to park in the overflow lot and walk about 8–10 minutes back to the hotel. Despite those issues, we still enjoyed our stay. The overall vibe was great, the staff was helpful, and we had a positive experience.

The parking garage was apparently full and we were told to go park on the street. The bed smelled of mildew and the the toilet ran all night.

The location is great. But shower pressure is next to nothing. There is no point in rain shower if there's no pressure. Would've been much better off with regular shower head. The advertised robes and slippers are nonexistent unless you ask and then you'd be given slippers only. Still no robes. The advertised office desk is nonexistent. Had to use the under-TV stand, which was usable, but to plug in my laptop, I had to unplug the TV. To plug in the phone charger next to the bed, had to unplug either clock or lamp. Very limited outlets. In general the room is pretty low end. Cleaning was so-so. But location is good

Location and pics online, plus the suite Room was poorly thought out. Second bed can’t see the tv where they mounted it. The furniture, all of it, is so uncomfortable.
