GALAXY HOTEL

The staff at the front and how it was downtown Don’t believe the hype it doesn’t have a rooftop to sit , they don’t have a spa , it’s some dude that comes in to massage you, but you have to text him and do all this other stuff so it wasn’t worthed , it would’ve been easier if the front could’ve booked a nice spa day.room service don’t knock they come right in .microwave downstairs on 2nd floor it’s not in the room. I got to park in front of the hotel and parking authority never bother you so that was a plus I got free parking right in front.the coffee shop should offer more , you have to make sure you have a a lot of money for a slice of toast.. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast the pictures do not believe.

There were a few clumps of hair in the shower and over the room. Staff was very helpful, and the AC was adjustable which was nice.

Not good but not bad, the hotel looks gorgeous from the outside and the lobby but the rooms are just okay. Cleanliness was subpar, crumbs on the side tables, a pair of shoes and socks from another guest inside the drawer it was actually disgusting. The bed was at least comfy, the shower was alright, the cracked tiles and sloppy tile work definitely paint a brighter picture. Staff were more interested in their phones more times than not and made it seem like me asking for help was a chore even though they’re getting paid to be there. For being in downtown St. Petersburg I’m very disappointed in this place, please do better.

This was my first visit to the Galaxy and I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. I’d had a bad day and then I had an issue with my card for the deposit,my phone was dead and the young lady behind the front desk was so friendly and so pleasant and helped me with anything she could and got me into my room. The room was beautiful. The view was beautiful. I will actually be returning this weekend.

The sheets had a bit of a smell

Staff was great. Front desk recommended dinner at Olivia’s down the street. That was great also. Rooms could be a little cleaner but still nice overall. Great views of the city and Tampa Bay. Great location and central to everything downtown. Will stay again,

Staff was amazing, the rooms were visually stunning aside from all the lampshades being extremely crooked and pictures on the wall being crooked. Only issues I had were the shower floors not being clean, there were foot prints on the floor of the bedroom upon check in, and the mini fridge smelled like mildew and did not get cold despite cranking it to the coldest setting.

The only flaw is parking. There is a parking garage very close by but the street parking is free but you have a 2 hour limit until nightfall where you can do your 2 hour parking and not need to move til the morning which restarts your 2 hour parking. They only do Valet for the hotel itself which is a bit pricey but honestly, this hotel is wonderful and worth it.

Property look nice Personal and employes I request a blanket At 7:00 pm because my is dirty and they say cant do nothing until 7:00 am so i sleep with out blanket because am not going use that dirty and they say glass on the bath in room 809 is unsafe i let know at the lobby and they say cant do nothing about that

loved the location and the cafe on site. balcony was also great! paid to park or move car locations, not very clean bathroom, not the usual free soaps you normally see at hotels. Felt like a 3 star hotel at best.

Location Our AC didn’t work well. Thankfully the weather was not hot.

Beautiful place

We arrived for our 30th anniversary, found out NO PARKING ONSITE AS THE INFORMATION STATED THEY DID HAVE. We were told to park 3blocks away from the hotel and we had to pay ourselves with NO DISCOUNT GIVEN. THAT WAS HORRIBLE TO WALK BACK AND FORTH TO GET YOUR CAR TO GET AROUND. The hotel was very clean, but NO HOOKS TO HANG OR TOILETRIES/SOAPS IN THE BATHROOM, NO ICE BUCKET IN THE ROOM, YOU GET NO LOCAL TV CHANNELS (all Roko channels), the ice and soda’s and snacks were all on the 2nd floor- No accommodations on the floors for the elderly or the handicapped. The staff was great and the hotel was clean, but will not stay again.

We had a great stay at Galaxy Hotel! Check-in was quick and easy, and Fatima was wonderful—very courteous, polite, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting the St. Petersburg/Tampa area. Highly recommend!
