Amsterdam Hotel

Location was convenient. Plenty of parking. In a nice houses nearby which made us feel safe. Windows allowed outside noise, such as car noise.

Good location to our needs There was one of the staff in morning wa humiliating and disrespectful The food ran out short and assumed that the guests take all the food She assumed that the food was enough for everyone but not happened She came on 10 o’clock and turned the lights off and said no more eating My kids were going out with muffins she said no it’s not allowed The house keeping got inside my room and they said there was no sign of don’t disturb

Easy to find. Not such clean carpets and so nosy from room next door I had to eventually switch rooms at 2 AM.

Perfect place for a night out , enjoying everything Stamford have to offer. Went out for dinner and dancing. hotel had the perfect location, clean and in the morning enjoy the continental breakfast as part of our stay. Will stay in this hotel again,almost forgot they also offer free parking. Very convenient!!!!

Good price, convenient location

Hotel was in decent shape. Area was a little less secure than I like, but the facility was clean and well maintained. I would probably stay again if I was in the area.

Nice clean comfortable room, however the breakfast was lousy. The little amount of coffee that was left was cold and the pastries was on the stale side.

Breakfast was continental and met our expectations Dated decor. Could use an upgrade

Ok place for a night, older in need of some updates. Breakfast is cereal, so if you're diabetic, not much choices.

The hotel is a bit dated but it is a nice property for the price point. Staff was very nice and everything was clean, which is a win for me. It is close to downtown, so you can walk to everything. Also, free parking in Stamford is a win!

The front desk staff was friendly and the property is convenient to the train to NYC. There were two belligerent men in the room next to us who were being incredibly loud and threatening at 2AM- tried to knock down my door with myself and my son inside. I tried to get the front desk to intervene, thinking this wasn’t appropriate or safe behavior to accept at this private establishment and they refused to get involved, telling me I could call the police, further agitating the men, but ultimately the police probably wouldn’t do anything, so I had to stay awake, confirming the door was locked well enough they couldn’t get in, and wait for them to fire themselves out so I could go back to sleep. Thank god my son has hearing loss and was able to sleep through it.

Exceptional

The overall hotel needed some TLC, but our room had clean sheets and it was close to the freeway. Although we needed ear plugs because it was right next to the freeway! Overall, good value for the price.

Ample lighted parking. Ample breakfast is continental but limited selection. Friendly helpful staff.

Staff is great room is clean

Patricio, the night manager was extremely helpful. We are here for 2 days, and found the staff, professional and pleasant. The continental breakfast is minimal, plentiful and tasty. Plenty of well-lit parking.
