Location and value The elevator is slow

Nothing management attitude when complained. Shower wouldn’t turn off. Had to move rooms. I get these things can happen but they insinuated it was my fault. They refunded me after some hassle.

The staff was very warm and welcoming!

This is a great value hotel to stay in Stamford especially with the parking and breakfast included. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is weak. If the breakfast had better selection and quality I would rate it 4.5.

I am a repeat guest at Amsterdam Hotel starting over five years ago. This is a family-owned and family-run hotel. They are always superb. I live in Hawaii, where we take our "Aloha" seriously. The staff certainly have that "Aloha Spirit we cherish and practice. Thank you, as always -now and in the future. The breakfast provided is appreciated. :)

The decor is pretty dated, but the place was clean and well maintained. The value was fantastic—it was a couple hundred dollars per night less than other properties nearby and is walking distance (about 24 minutes) from the Amtrak station, with some nice dining (e.g., Puerta Vallarta) on the way. The continental breakfast wasn’t the best, but it had some bananas, Raisin Bran and milk and waffles and toast. A staffer replaced the milk quickly when it ran out and someone went to the front desk. The window in our room seemed to be letting a bit of air in, which we only noticed in the morning, but it wasn’t that cold out luckily and I wasn’t cold, but my girlfriend was. The hotel was walking distance to a few diners, which we didn’t explore because of bad weather and being pressed for time. My girlfriend was mad that I cheaped out by staying here, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat, due to the deep value. She will not join me but that’s fine.

The hotel is good. It could use some updates. Everything works and it is clean.

The place seem old, dark, and outdated. The woman behind the desk, at check in, was very friendly and helpful. I doubt we will ever stay there again. It just was't nice or appealing.

Great value for the area. Room decor is dated but in good condition. Very nice microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker area. Very large rooms.

Very clean and comfortable. Spotless. Recently painted - lobby well lit and staffed. Luggage carts [a real plus!]. And breakfast was great. Close to everything. Price point wonderful

This is not fancy but a good value. The location is good and there's easy parking - a real bonus. Very easy in and out.

My stay will make me look forward to next
