Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott State College

Really enjoyed the stay the staff were super friendly and accommodating super close to Penn State and all the necessary amenities that one needs.

Breakfast and truck noise.

Clean facility, great location. Beds were old and the pool was small - but it worked for a 1 night stay.

Breakfast was great- location is excellent. I was overcharged for my room. I reserved the room at $164 plus 11% tax which came to $182.04. I was charged $202.04. I’ve contacted booking.com but they have not reimbursed my $20. I asked for a receipt when I checked out but was told it would come from booking.com in my e- mail. It never came.

The location was great and the staff were all excellent. The breakfast, especially the “scrambled eggs”, was nothing to brag about.

Will return on next trip through town.

We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It saved us time and it was nice having a hot breakfast with good coffee. We also were impressed with the amenities for graduation weekend including the graduation ceremony schedule and directions to the venues and the complimentary drinks and snacks for the guests.

Everything was exceptional as we've grown to expect from Marriott facilities.

The facility was clean but needs attention. Our door was sticking/catching making it difficult for entry even after notifying the front desk. There was floor receptacles popping up in the lobby, the room TVs are small, and the breakfast was horrible.
