Breakfast was very good and the dining area was cheerful and nice. As for the room, it was spacious and included a minifridge. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I was glad to see that there were towel/clothes hooks accessible for someone in a wheelchair - that was a nice idea. The pool was refreshing and we were glad to be close to downtown. The toilet paper holder was kind of odd - the roll easily slipped off the bar, would have been nice to have something to keep it from falling onto the floor. Also, along with the lower clothes/towel hooks, it would be nice to have a couple more placed higher up for us long-legged people for hanging long jeans, etc. Neither of these things were dealbreakers, of course! They're just minor things. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean room and friendly staff in an older remodeled location. Worked well for two people traveling thru.

Place was very nice. Everyone was very nice.

Guy at check in was very friendly and helpful and the woman at check out was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was great with a great choice of items.

Great for a "just need a place to sleep" hotel. Bed is slightly soft. Walls are thin but neighbors quieted down before it got too late. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs were so so, nice hard boiled eggs milk choices, and good waffle maker (minis too).

The bedroom was clean. I stood in line from 3:45 PM to 5 PM because the internet was not working and the staff could not check in anyone. At around 6:45 PM the internet was still not working. One of the staff said this happens when it is HOT outside and all Hiltons were affected. After standing in line for all that time I was told by the staff I would get some type of reduction in my stay. I had photocopied my reservation from booking.com and finally the hotel gave me a key without using the internet to check me in. The reduction in the cost of my stay never occurred since I did not phone the hotel to make a reservation. The breakfast space was too small and there was no place for us and some other guests to sit. The entire breakfast area did not accommodate the number of hotel guests, and the staff did not even clean the table spaces after a person soiled the tables.

While adequate, this Hampton Inn does not seem as good as others we have stayed at.
-
It was a one night stay so it served its purpose. I would probably book a different hotel if I was passing through again but it was a cheap and efficient hotel. It was clean also. If you are looking for cheap and clean and state college its a good choice.

This is the second time staying here for PSU new student orientation. It was close to campus and had a good quick breakfast and the hotel served our needs as we only were there 8 hours to sleep.

Location was great! Hotel seemed older and below the standards of a Hampton Inn. My door was old and not working well. Seemed old and on its last leg. Just seemed it was a cut below my expectations for a Hampton. People were great though. Work out room was decent. Was worth the price though.
