We went for great nephews graduation, so didn't utilize most stuff

Bed was too soft

Location in town was a plus. Owner was delightful and let us check in early. Comfortable bed. Room needs upgrade: leaky sink with old hot and cold spigots; large old tub to climb in for shower; no available coffee in room or other place; wallpaper peeling and trim missing in bathroom; second floor rooms hard to climb stairs for seniors.

We couldn't figure out how to work the TV in our room at all. It was probably operator error.

We made the reservation at the last moment, and the room was hot when we got there, and it took a while to cool down. The location was great. The breakfast was excellent.

These are the sweetest people ever! The building is an old rustic house, something you would see in gone with the wind or something. But the people running it are the real gem. Super helpful and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is nice and follow up with you if you forget something. I mean it's just old, electrical and AC system needs an update but it all works.

The place is a mess. There is junk everywhere, it was boarder line hoarding. The house is in need of a lot of work.

The hotel is located about half a mile from the town centre (Staunton is not large) in a residential part of town. There is little going on in the immediate vicinity. The main house is rather run down on the outside, but OK inside. As its name implies, the hotel's theme is a mixture of Thai and Victorian - which is a rather odd combination. I like Thai food and have spent a couple of years living in a neighbouring country - and I normally enjoy staying in old properties; but this did not quite work. The hotel rooms have a very cluttered feel. We had our evening meal in the Thai restaurant attached to the hotel. It was OK and not expensive, but not memorable. The breakfast was also OK. It was Thai-style cooking; there was no choice. The service in the restaurant was not very attentive: the only waiter kept nipping off to have a cigarette. As the waiter was also the receptionist, it took a while to get into our room.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a delicious Thai breakfast of stir fried veggies and eggs on rice noodles. The room was overcrowded with furniture and not very clean. The bathroom needs some work.

Owner, Obon, is so fun! Inspiring personality. Tons of character, personality, blend of east and west, unique, ecelectic. Asked for Thai breakfast - it was excellent (American breakfast was an option).

House seemed to have some structural issues, bathroom was a bit shabby and the TV did not work. Batteries in the remote were corroded.

All good

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the inn, and the food in the restaurant was excellent! We chose to eat dinner in, and breakfast was provided with the room. Both were excellent. The beautiful Victorian home was filled with treasures, eclectic and a little eccentric. The family that owns and runs the inn and restaurant are delightful. We would definitely stay again. I would have loved a coffee maker in the room, but I was welcomed to make coffee in the restaurant in the early morning hours. We really have no complaints. We had a wonderful stay.

Owners were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Walking distance of attractions. The grounds and exterior common areas were very neglected. The inside common areas were very cluttered with random decorations and no particular theme. All in all, the property seemed neglected. If they would clean up the outside and hire a gardener and interior decorator, this property would be so beautiful, as the structure itself is gorgeous and very solid.

Very friendly people. Great food. We were very comfortable here. Our room was quiet, calm, and clean. We slept great. The house is beautiful. We will stay there again!

The room we stayed in was a little dusty, but other than that it was amazing!
