La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Steamboat Springs

We had someone try and break into our truck two nights in a row. The hotel was no help. They should have security cameras on parking and did not.

Excellent front desk staff; very professional and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic and could benefit from a larger selection. The one negative was bring charged $12.00 a night to park my car on the hotel property. Overall though a nice hotel.

Room was small, especially the bathroom. There were dark stains in the tub. We had a second floor room and they had a luggage cart and no elevator. What are we supposed to do, carry the luggage cart up the stairs with our luggage on it? And the individual who owns this place actually tried to make us pay for parking as we were leaving! It's not like this is a hotel in a downtown area of a major city - it's on a remote US highway in a small town in Western Coloradao. AVOID!

On an upbeat note the coffee was good. I left early each day before breakfast but always got a cup of coffee. Probably won’t stay with you the next time I’m in town.

Nice view. Staff was not available when I was ready to check in. Our room smelled like sweaty gym socks and the hotel is rundown. Breakfast was the barest of bare minimum. Would not recommend.

Did not like having to pay for parking. Common areas and stairs could be vacuumed. Room was dusty.

It was clean and well taken care of. The 2 front desk staff personnel were AWESOME, super helpful and polite. Even the cleaning staff were all so polite and accommodating!!! I will definitely stay at this facility again when I return to Steamboat Springs at the end of September and again in January of 2027. There were several rooms that had dogs in them and they barked all night long (Sept 1st). I did not get any sleep at all. To be fair, I don’t think the staff knew that the construction worker staying there had snuck their dogs into the room (we saw them do it by quickly carrying the dogs inside their room and avoiding staff). I will see about room availability when I come back to Steamboat in late September. Off-Season room pricing was very fair and I felt it was a good value for the money spent. Keep up the good work on the property and please retain all your staff because they were so great to deal with (especially Laura the front desk night time lady.

It was quiet (road noise was minimal) and close to town It was dirty. Floor didn’t look like it was vacuumed. There was no extra toilet paper had to go search through supple closet to get some. The bedding was stained with blood! Visible right underneath the bed sheet.

I’m not 100% certain how clean our sheets were. It looked like there was dirt on the pillow cases on 2 of the four and the bedspread had dirt smudges on them as well. The high ceilings made the room feel very large.

Dirty and overpriced. Staff was useless. Housekeeping banging on your door before 1000am.

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was decent. I was charged to park my vehicle overnight, when I booked the room I was unaware that I would have to pay additional to park my vehicle.

Really run down for a La Quinta. They should take their name off of the place.

Location convenient Mold in bathroom, beds worn down and not comfortable, walls very thin could hear everything in hall and neighbors.
