Overall, it was a good stay. The hot breakfast bar had a good variety and was fresh. Just one observation: there are no elevators. We had a second-floor room, so we could not wheel the luggage cart there from the front lobby. We carried our stuff up the stairs just fine, but less-than-able-bodied guests might find it difficult to traverse the stairs, especially if they use a cane or a wheelchair.

Very basic room, with microwave and mini-fridge. Very clean. A great value for the price in a very expensive area. I would stay there again. Breakfast was simple but completely adequate.

We had to cancel our room last minute. Our dog got very sick and we had to drive back. I get that the room was non-refundable. We actually stopped at the hotel to talk to the front desk clerk and see if it was possible to get a refund or partial refund. The front desk person said “nope” with no acknowledgment or empathy expressed to our very sick dog and 4th July trip to steamboat cut very short. Again, I get the policy, but as a human being be better when someone is going through a difficult situation. We visit steamboat often, but staying here in the future is not an option due to the front desk incident

The bed was super comfortable and clean. Towels were clean and crisp. The breakfast was wonderful. Staff very kind. My only complaint is that the bathroom had some gross bodily products stuck to the walls behind the bathroom door. Because maids would never go inside a bathroom and close the door, these icky spots have never been seen or cleaned.

The room was good except for the shower. The shower curtain could not be made to cover the opening resulting in a mess on the floor. The whole shower curtain contraption seemed ready to fall on the floor at any second. The breakfast was average. Nothing special and no potatoes served. The waffle makers were hot and ready to go, but no waffle mix.
