Super 8 by Wyndham Stephenville

There was no smoke alarm in the room. Extremely dangerous.

Wish the pool would have been working. It was a hot day of moving the kid into college and the pool would have been amazing after all the work.

For the price, this was a great place to stay. The staff was so courteous and friendly. The room was clean. Some updates on the outside are needed but overall, a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well-kept and comfortable my room was for an out of the way, off the beaten track place.

The property is dirty and run down. The picture of this place is actually false advertising. The pool is about 10x12 ft tops and was full of algae. Completely green. The curtains in the rooms block the air conditioner, so the room is hot, even with the air turned down. The TV did not work. To get onto WiFi, you have to go through the process of creating a rewards account. There were stains all over the couch and carpet , and I have bites on my arm from bugs.

Staff was helpful in setting up my TV.

I had a accessibility room, for i am a disabled veteran, even though the shower was turned off he shower was running all night. Had to put towels down on the floor to avoid slipping and falling . When I first entered the room the shower was running and the bathroom floor was soaked I brought the issue to management and they couldn't put me in a different room.

I liked the cleanliness and the staff's service.

Location was close to everything The room wasn't clean. The AC didn't work good Slept without a blanket cause it was hot. And our toilet didn't flush. The microwave was rusted. There was no coffee pot in room. Won't stay again

The staff were awesome. The rooms were very clean. Had no issues with the property

However, staff were nice and pool was conveniently open early and late. But, I will never return because I have kids and don't want them sleeping with bugs.

Adequate room for our needs.

Cold a/c, hot shower, but crappy wifi.

Location Water dripped down from the bathroom upstairs. Shower curtain too short. Water on the bathroom floor. Dangerous fall hazard! Pool was dirty! Local kids were allowed in the pool, they not guests. Motel pretty run down. Not much to say about Wyndham expectations.

Location for 4th festivities and the staff were amazing!

The room was super clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and amazing. Breakfast was mediocre, but it’s what you can expect from a quick breakfast. They are nearby options though in Stephenville. Did not use the pool but wanted two. Just didn’t have time because of a late arrival. The elevator did not work. I got in it to leave the next morning and the door is open thankfully, but it would not go downstairs. We were in room 219. It was very warm in there and we had it turned down to the lowest temperature. But other than that, everything was amazing. They offer a good quality, body wash, shampoo and conditioner that’s connected to the wall. I’m hesitant about using stuff like that, but I did use the body wash and it was pretty amazing. I would recommend going here if you need an inexpensive high-quality motel room.
