Beautiful spot. Felt a little nickel and dimed with resort fee, parking and pet fee on top of room rate. Very few rooms have a balcony or patio so the common area and Adirondack chairs are busy in the evenings to enjoy the fresh air and views. Patio seating at restaurant is also popular and limited. Since that is only place dogs are welcome wait time can be lengthy. We did score our second night. Dogs are made to feel welcome with a big bowl of ice water and their own goody bag in room.

I did enjoy my stay. Was not impressed with my Premier king room. Was in some corner with a view of someone's balcony. Used the exercise room and they had zero water. My room was cleaned only once. Bar doesn't open until 2. Ice machine broke on Friday and still was not fixed as of Monday when we checked out. I did highly recommend the zip line the girls were very friendly. And they charged 17.00 to park

This is a beautiful property. We've come several times. A few differences that I noticed this time that I didn't care for. The event concert wasn't on the lawn but in a small space that couldn't accommodate everyone who wanted to watch. Also there were too many barking dogs in the rooms.

    Great for families, beautiful location.

The WiFi went down hours after our arrival and was still not fixed the next day by the time we had to check out. The pool was also closed for the entire evening of our stay. So much for that “amenity” fee! The whole stay was just so disappointing.

Love this property. We have been here several times. Great views, amenities, and staff. The only fault was the loud wedding party that was drunk in the hallways until past 2 am. My family didn’t get any sleep and totally ruined our early morning hike the next day. The staff were apologetic and provided a small credit. I would come again but disappointed in this stay due to the circumstances.

Great location good restaurant and a lot to do. Beautiful views

Beautiful setting but rooms were dated. Knob came off the bathroom sink and the ice maker didn’t work. Outdoor hot tub was closed for repairs and that was a big reason for selecting this location. Overall a bit disappointing.

We weren't aware the pool on Sundays close at 9pm. Them Monday the outside hot tub was closed. Our coffee mugs had red lipstick on them. We asked for extra bedding and never received. The hotel and the ambiance is gorgeous, hand down a must stay but they need to make sure the rooms are cleaned to standard. Just know parking isn't free but there's no other place to park. Parking $15

Fantastic place to relax as well as many activities for all if you’re looking for an all inclusive vacation. The spa service was amazing as well as the outdoor hot tub and hiking trails.

The view of the river is breath taking. On-site restaurants are nice.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Beautiful view of lake and mountains, seating provided inside/outside. Fire pit was nice and having a restaurant on site is convenient. Spa staff inexperienced and treatments overpriced. Limited options no manicure/pedicures. Men’s spa/hot tub broken thru 4 day stay. Not being advised of broken hot tub in locker room, prior to booking is inexcusable. Treatment rooms were not quiet as children could be heard running/yelling to/from pool area. Great potential but at those prices one expects “peace & quiet” during treatments. Therefore no escape from loud children as they ruled all hot tubs. Quiet zone and NO glassware must be enforced in pool/spas…it was not.

Overall Skamania Lodge is really great and a great place to visit. We booked two Premier King rooms and they both were overlooking the river. The view and the rooms itself were really great. The reason to give poor ratings is because of the staff. Our room heater/cooling system was not functioning and we tried to call for help at Guest services. None of them came till 20mins post that, and given it was getting late, we called again. The person at the front desk who said his name was Derek, said it's not really in his hand that there are less people on the staff and made it sound like my problem that I cannot wait. It was pretty rude behavior and something which I would not appreciate. Though once another person on the staff came to help, he was very nice and apologized as well. Just for the front desk person's conduct, i would like to rate it this way.
