Currently under construction which was not disclosed prior to us arriving. Pool is gone despite what the Expedia website advertised!

Easy and convenient location for our event The beds were not all that comfortable and the air unit in the room was a little on the loud side.

The property is under construction, but it was very well managed without a lot of noise or interference with our stay. We forgot it was even going on. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - close to campus. But the best part of the entire stay was the staff. They were the most genuine, friendly people I have ever come across in a hotel. I only interacted with them at check-in and check-out, but both times the staff showed me that they care about making people feel welcome. 10/10 stars, will always stay here if I'm ever in Stillwater again.

Staff was nice and professional, hotel going through reno with no notes stating so, would have picked another hotel to stay at if I would have known, disappointed there was no prior notification by the hotel or booking site

The main reason we booked this hotel was to have pool access. Amenities should be updated to not include the pool.

It was advertised as having a swimming pool. I found out at check in on Friday night they have not had a pool since February!!! The Cable TV did not work. Had to have front desk guy fix it. Every time TV was turned off it would not work. The key card didn't work on Saturday night. The shower had no water pressure as it was all coming out of the tub spout. I will never stay at Fairfield Stillwater again. I paid $250. for two nights and it was terrible!!!! My Grandson was very upset as I promised him we would be able to swim after we got off work! Upon check out I was advised by front desk to apply for a Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card, not sure I want to do that since the stay here was so bad! I would prefer a refund instead of extra points the front desk recommended!

We enjoyed our stay, although our room was never cleaned (three night stay).

I scheduled this room with free cancellation however, when I decided to only stay two nights instead of three I was told that the hotel would not allow me to cancel without losing my reservation for every night due to the hotel being sold out. I tried three times to cancel one night within 6 MONTHS of the reserved dates. I contacted the hotel and was told that it was hotels.com not allowing me to change reservation but when talking to hotels.com I was told it was the hotel not allowing me to change. I don’t know who was taking advantage of the situation but I will be cancelling my hotels.com account and will consider a different hotel next time. Hotel was fine but extremely dissatisfied with both parties.

They were renovating so hallways were unfinished. Had to move rooms right away because toilet did not flush well. Staff on duty handled things well and asked again how things were going. Original room and room that we moved to had both been renovated but not done well. Breakfast was good though and hotel was quiet.

Quiet, cold AC, clean rooms. Property is having some renovations done, so the parking lot offers less parking spots than normal- but that’s understandable. Overall great stay.
