We had an amazing stay at the Brass Lantern Inn. The room and bed were wonderful, the decking was a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening, breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Very much a high end bed and breakfast with how much attention to detail. The breakfasts were delicious and very fresh. The amenities offered really set this B&B aside from all the rest! Would gladly stay again!

Excellent breakfast, comfortable room, great charm and feel to the B&B. Nice little touches like slippers and bath robes. The hot tub was relaxing! We in the room closest to the road, so there was a little road noise and the late winter road was brown and muddy. We were also above the dog pen. They provide white noise machines and we just closed the blinds so no big deal.

The Brass Lantern sits just on the edge of Stowe, very quick access to the restaurant and shops. The breakfasts were wonderfully curated and deliciously prepared. Coffee and tea are available all day. Each evening a sweet homemade treat was available in the dining room. The rooms were appointed with upgraded linens, towels and toiletries. House slippers and robes were provided. The sound machine and charging station were nice extras. After skiing each day, we enjoyed the hot tub with a view of Mount Mansfield and Stowe Mountain Ski Resort. Don was very helpful with advice for ski parking and dining suggestions. There is ample free parking at the Inn. As the lower garden was deep in snow, we could only enjoy our own outside adult beverages in our room. We were not allowed to consume them in the lounge areas. (We were able to chill them in the refrigerator in the bar area) Alcoholic beverages are available to purchase in the Inn that you can enjoy in the lounge. It would be nice for an exception when there is so much snow outside so we could have our own wine and visit with other guests in the lounge areas.

Very cute and cozy property. Great location to nearby stores and restaurants in Stowe and about 15 minute drive to the mountain. Property had more amenities than expected (abundance of towels, ropes, water, slippers, chocolates and more). Although we didn’t eat the actual breakfast because we wanted to be at the mountain when it opened, they offered excellent breakfast sandwiches, parfait or overnight oats to go along with a granola bar and juice. Beds were very comfortable with many pillows to choose from. We will be back. Just a suggestion to offer breakfast an hour earlier especially during the winter season; however breakfast to go was a great option.

Bed very comfortable, fluffiest towels ever. Very comfortable common areas. Using my phone to scan codes to order drinks so I didn’t do it

Our room was lovely with a cozy fireplace and fantastic bathtub jets. We didn't even want to leave to go to dinner. Our hosts were super nice, breakfast was awesome. Will definately come back here if we're in the area!

Don is a great host; breakfasts were amazing and if possible, we would have taken the bed home with us!

Don and Andrew are amazing host. Andrew is a great Chef, and the breakfeast quality and variety was just outstanding. The perfect way to start any day, even under -20 Celsius. We'll definitely be looking forward to coming back.

The property was a very cute, quaint Vermont inn. The breakfast was wonderful and the owner, Don, was incredibly helpful and kind. We had issues with multiple different features in our room, which was unfortunate, but Don took care of all issues as quickly as possible, which was greatly appreciated. The inn was a 20 minute drive to Stowe, which was perfect, and it was very easy to access stores and restaurants from the inn. There are a few things that I did not like about the property. The first issue was the amount of noise above our room. Our room was on the ground level and there were two floors above us. We could hear multiple dogs barking during the day and night as well as footsteps pretty much constantly throughout the day and night. This was slightly disruptive to our stay. The room was not as clean as I would have expected and there were areas of the room and bathroom where we could visibly see dust. The fireplace in our room did not work and had to be fixed on two different occasions by the owner. The faucet broke off of our shower and a handyman and plumber had to come to fix it. Although the owner was quick to respond and fix the issue, it was inconvenient to have to deal with people in and out of our room during our stay. When I stay somewhere I do not want to worry about things breaking or not working.

Nice place to relax Proximity to the main road

The owner was welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and the view out the dining room windows gave a great view of the mountains.

It was very roomy; had lounging areas; tea, coffee and water 24 hours/day. Had homemade treats. In the morning had delicious homemade breakfast with locally sourced products. Host was wonderful as well. Looking forward to staying there in the future as a family gathering!! I love everything!

Five family members occupied three rooms at this charming restored farmhouse. Andrew and Don made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. There were large, comfortable common areas in which to chat, play games and do jigsaw puzzes. The hot breakfast, made to order, was exceptioal. A few of us enjoyed the outdoor hot tub overlooking an expansive lawn area. This is an updated farmhouse so there are no elevators. Be prepared to carry your luggage up or down a short flight of stairs.
