The location is beautiful!! The hotel and rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place. We loved it!!!

The rooms are beautifully renovated, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire property is well maintained. The grounds are so pretty, and the setting along the river is relaxing and scenic. Our first room had a connecting door, and we could hear everything from the room next door. We called the front desk, and they immediately found us another room. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating, and they made the switch quick and stress-free. We really appreciated how seriously they took our concern and how genuinely friendly they were. Excellent customer service, beautiful accommodations, and a peaceful setting made this a fantastic stay. We highly recommend Sun & Ski Inn & Suites and look forward to coming back!

Our room was in the new section. We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Stowe and this is one of the newer and best options. My only complaint is that the chairs on our balcony and outside along the river were very dirty. I understand they are outdoors but it seems to me that they should be wiped down daily. But I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel is new and modern. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and the complementary breakfast was nice.

What an amazing place to stay! Friendliest staff I’ve ever met ant an hotel and very accommodating to guests for a room change when there was a barking dog next to our original room. We enjoyed the gourmet pastries each morning and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were a great way to relax every night. Thanks for a great stay!

I chose this hotel for its location, close to an event we were attending. I would come back and stay here anytime I am in Stowe. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Stowe Bowl was a real bonus - we had a fabulous lunch and also made a stop at the bar later in the day. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the location can't be beat.

We stayed in a section of the hotel that was not renovated, so the carpet showed lots of wear. The updated section looked beautiful! The rooms themselves were very comfortable and the surrounding property was well maintained. The views of the creek/river behind the property was breathtaking.

Plenty of sleeping space. Kind of far out, but worth the drive.

This place is AWESOME...we got one of the older rooms and yeah, it needs updating but so what - just go open your back patio and enjoy your backyard instead b/c that is worth 10x the cost of your room. Just a beautiful relaxing spot by the river for you to enjoy! We even saw a bear stroll by in the morning. Also, if that's not enough - this place has an indoor pool, a small bowling alley, and a mini golf course. And a gym! And laundry facilities! If you have younger kids this place would be awesome and even if you don't, it's still awesome. We paid such a low rate (probably why we had one of the older rooms) but I feel we totally lucked out. In fact, if I stayed her again I would actually request one of the older rooms just so I can have access to the beautiful outdoor space again. We found on our last day the TV wasn't working and the safe needed a new battery...but we didn't use either of them so it wasn't really an issue for us.
