About The Riverside Inn
This historic Inn features a lounge with a fireplace where guests can sit and relax. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and free bike rentals are available for use on the Stowe Recreation Path, which is directly next to the property. Rooms are either located in the main lodge or in the motel overlooking the river. Pets are allowed in the Motel section but strictly not in the Lodge. If you are looking to bring a pet please contact the Inn before arrival to confirm. Each room is uniquely decorated with wood furnishings and some rooms offer a private bath. Ski passes and storage are available. Winter cross-country skiing is accessible via the recreation path. Stowe Mountain Resort is an 8-minute drive from The Riverside. The Helen Day Art Center is 2 miles from the property.

Everything was great. The room, the area. I needed something close to an event I was participating in. It even provided the opportunity for a little adventure. If I had brought my running shoes I could have gone down to the river right behind the building!

They were very welcoming and helpful, provided lots of advice for exploring the nearby village, and even allowed us a late checkout to spend the day skiing before our evening flight. Would absolutely stay here again.

Julian & Kay were kind and responsive. The location is very convenient to get to Stowe whether driving or taking the shuttle. Also walking distance to restaurants and bars in town. My room in the motel had all I needed to enjoy a no-frills ski weekend like a microwave, fridge, and fast wifi.

Clean room, close to restaurants and diners. Not far from downtown Stowe at all!! I definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Stowe, Vermont!! I’ll definitely be back.. thanks for the hospitality

Very charming Inn that was very comfortable and had a great location in Stowe. We had a small room with a private bath that worked very well for us. We loved the location and free parking. Very affordable during the leaf peeping season. I highly recommend this lovely Inn.

This place was amazing. Absolute perfect location with so much to do so close by. Went for a fall trip with my girlfriend and everything we wanted to do was less than ten minutes away. And right next door to pizza place and brewery that was so convenient to walk to at night. Super nice owners as well. Will definitely be back here next year. Thank you!

We stayed in one of the motel rooms in the back. Clean, spacious room with river view. Furniture was dated but bed was comfy & bath recently renovated. The inn owners are very friendly & welcoming. Located close to restaurants, breweries and short drive to Stowe center. Back of the inn connects to a beautiful walking/biking trail. We'd definitely stay here again.
