The Carriage House at Strasburg

The suite was absolutely beautiful. Real cottage atmosphere. The kitchen is completely fitted out. A cosey lounge area. We arrived late on a hot day and the air con didn't cool the attic bedrooms till the middle of the night.

I liked everything about this place. The room was decorated so nicely giving it a cozy feel. The bed was comfortable and everything was really clean. We were given a breakfast voucher for the Speckled Hen restaurant across the street. The food was delicious and we were able to sit at their outside patio to eat. No complaints.

The staff was welcoming and able to answer all of my questions! Our room had a chic design and was well organized. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in our room, and an ice machine next door (all which came in handy). I also appreciated the breakfast voucher for Speckled Hen, which was a stone's throw away! The AC unit made it feel and smell a bit damp in the room. It felt more like a motel than an Airbnb, which isn't a bad thing- just not what I was expecting! I also had trouble with the Wi-Fi cutting in and out.

The room was updated, clean and neat! Free breakfast across the street. Staff was very accommodating. Loved every aspect of this stay. All good!

We enjoyed our short stay in the king suite. Nothing

The AC unit kept us up during the night. It’s temperature settings only allowed us to be in some kind of eco mode - meaning it would shut off when it reached temp but sound like a freight train when kicking back on.

Studio suite was clean and everything was functional. Nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Studio suite was in the basement. Ceilings very low (I'm glad my husband and I are not too tall) and could hear all noises above. Room was hot. Not adequately cooled for the location. Tv was too small. Bathroom needs updating. I've stayed here before in a room on ground level and it was cute and comfortable. Would not book this particular room again.

The carriage house was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfy, and got vouchers for 16 dollars off breakfast at the speckled hen restaurant across the street. It's hard to see oncoming traffic when leaving the parking lot a mirror might help.

This was our first stay and will not be our last. We stayed in the Miller Suite and it felt like stepping into home. From Tim at reception until we closed the door leaving, we were more than satisfied w the room and service. Love supporting local owners rather than the big box hotel chains

Beautiful property, clean and very friendly management. I will recommend the carriage house to any family. It felt like being at home. Easy access to those with mobility issues and young children. Parking right outside your room. Very safe location with easy access to shops and tourist sites a short drive away. I will stay at this property again.

This property is clean, cozy and comfortable. The room looks just like the photos. Check in process is easy and simple. Each room has an assigned parking spot which is great. They give you a voucher for the Speckled Hen right across the street which is pretty neat. Really liked that this place is close to everything , but not in the middle of the really busy area.

Convenience Beds very uncomfortable

We were in town for the railway museum and Steam Train Ride, so we needed an overnight accommodation. This was a perfect location for those activities. The room was big and the parking plentiful. The Breakfast arrangement with the Speckled Hen, across the street, worked very well.
