The hotel appeared to be fairly new when we arrived. It was clean and the staff friendly. However, the mattress felt worn out...it felt like we were feeling the springs. The pillows were flat - gave no support. We tried to use the fan as white noise to block out the traffic sounds but, it would not stay on. The unit continued to go on and off all night. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a good nights sleep.

The lady at check in was extremely sweet and helpful. Clean room, Breakfast had a variety of things to choose from, coffee was good. We had a pleasant stay. Only complaint is the pool needed a good cleaning

Some of the Breakfast items ran out 3 of the mornings we were there. They weren't replenished. Pancakes, milk, eggs. Sm. Biscuits were over cooked. Too many days with potatoes.

The second agent was polite when she returned. I checked in. There was no fruit on the breakfast bar for the first two days of my stay. (some of us don't eat meat [especially NOT pork] and/or bread every day). There was mold on the ceiling. The pillow cases had stains. I misplaced a phone charger. It may or may not have been lost at the holiday inn. I have called twice - Monday and Tuesday since checking out. Both times someone claims they will check with housekeeping and call me back. No one has called me back. First person stated it would cost $20 to mail the charger back to me if found... A padded envelope plus postage doesn't cost anyhere near that much. A new charger would be cheaper OR I could have a family member who lives in the area pick it up. Windows dirty per usual. This place was nice when new. Do better holiday inn express.

My stay was enhanced by the added amenities that were included. Free breakfast and parking were welcomed. The food each morning was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I always enjoy my stay at this location in Summerville.

This was an one night stay for a visit to attend a family gathering at a near by location. The location was easy to find and in a good area near stores and restaurants, and there is a Food Lion grocery store located and a few additional stores near the entry of the hotel parking lot. Ample parking spaces and well lite parking lot, I was traveling alone and felt that the location was safe and clean. Check-in was easy and the host was pleasant. I stayed on the third floor, and the room and halls were clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and linen and towels were clean, and checking out was easy as well. Overall it was a good stay for my one night hotel stay as I'm really use to resort stays when I travel and I would book this location again it were needed.

He had to put towel in shower to avoid slipping. Not cool nor smart! Very disappointed in Holiday Inn! Also property needs refurbished for being dirty and old looking. Very dirty in lobby and breakfast area.
