Holiday Inn Express & Suites Summerville by IHG

Finally given the right room and there were dirty socks on each side of the queen beds. Clearly the rooms aren’t fully clean. Holes in the bathroom ceiling with missing vent cover.

The day we checked in was great ,the first young lady was friendly curtious and professional and very helpful. However checking out was quite the opposite short with response wouldn't look up when speaking with you very cold not friendly at all .

It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Downside was that it is almost completely occupied by construction worker crews building in the area and they devoured all of the breakfast food by about 7:30 and there were virtually no refills of the food for regular guests who came to breakfast after the crews had gone for the morning. Feed the crews of course but then refill the steam trays for regular guests

Nice stay. The room was clean, super comfortable bed and complimentary breakfast was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

I got to the hotel about 7:00pm - Ready to check in after a long day. When I arrived, there were 2 staff members at the front desk. Not very friendly at all. Asked my name and told me to fill out the paper didn't even ask for my ID to verify who I was. She handed my keys to me and told me, and I was off to my room. Got upstairs keys would not work had to come back down and the reset keys - Go back up. Keys still does not work - Go back down and she reset it. Go back up keys still don't work - Go back down and the other girl asked the other what room it is. She then said why are we even renting that room - it's out of service. Then the one girl said Well it must be back in service. So, they call maintenance I asked how long that would be because my guest was sitting in the hallway upstairs. I asked how long it should be and if I should get my guest from upstairs and she was like I didn't know you had a guest that's on you. so, I go upstairs get him and we sit in the lobby for about 30 mins - Here we are at the hotel already for close to 45 mins. The maintenance guy goes upstairs and says room 416 is out of service. So go back down said no more rooms - Then I start to get a little aggravated and heated and she tells me to calm down and suddenly they find another room. This took over an hour and 15 mins to finally get in my room. I would love a partial refund or some credit for What I had to go through. No one should have to wait that long after being checked in for a room

I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was good. But my room was not fully clean when I checked in. There was a lot of dust and trash in room.

Check in was easy and the young lady at the desk was so sweet. The room was beautiful and clean

Clean, modern, and friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Toilet seat was broken and hanging halfway off.

For what we needed, the hotel was very nice. We booked last minute and it worked out in every possible way! We would stay again if the opportunity presented itself again! Great stay!
