Hilton Garden Inn Summerville

Excellent front desk staff. Well trained in customer service skills. All of the staff were warm and friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area.

This was a very nice property and our room was very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly. We ordered some food while at the pool. The wings and fries were very tasty.

Clean rooms, great beds. Great area

Beautiful design inside and out. No waste bottles of soap, lotion etc… water in the fridge was a definite plus. Snacks downstairs was a great idea, but no prices, was a bummer. Quick attention to two maintenance issues. Pool and outdoor area looked inviting. Loved the location away from traffic but close to the highway, and sidewalks nearby… I would have felt comfortable traveling solo to this location. No one told us you were in the middle of construction. All instructions for the room and hotel amenities were in the app… nothing written. Had trouble just viewing the television. As much as we love our phones, sometimes when we travel for pleasure, we want to be less dependent on them for everything not handcuffed to them. Please go back to putting one form and one soft pillow in the room… we had 4 soft pillows. Extra cost for breakfast, but it was okay because we didn’t have to pay for something we were not using since we had breakfast plans already.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast buffet is way overpriced for what they have and the taste. A draft beer at the bar is 11 dollars. Besides that it’s a great hotel

Pulled up to the hotel and half of it is under construction. Asked the staff specifically if it would be noisy due to the construction and she replied with “yes, you will hear the construction, they work 8-5 Monday thru Friday.” I immediately said that was unacceptable and left. Called Expedia immediately stating we were having to book another room somewhere else. Expedia then responded with saying that the refund will be up to the hotel. Well, we were notified that we would not receive a refund. Contacted the hotel multiple times with no response back from the manager. If a location is under construction that needs to be said in the description and available before booking.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. Also, the bar was definitely a vibe.

The bathroom door was a bad design, it slides to close if your not careful you’ll smash your finger. Kids will need assistance opening and closing the door
