While the staff was helpful and polite, the rest of our stay was rather lacking. The pool was out of order. The breakfast was struggling due to broken burners. It was a loud hotel. The downstairs seemed to be under construction. Tesla chargers worked great and the coffee was good. Could not recommend this hotel in good conscience.

We visited your location in Sweetwater, TX for just one night and hoped everything would be fine but instead the he front doors weren't fully functional. The floor in the elevator was broken. The toilet seat was wobbly and the water pressure was horrible. The receipts and keycard from We didn't complain because it was just

Terrible, A/C didnt work in room switched room but was not much better. Ice machines broke except 1st floor and breakfast was burnt!!!!

We checked out of the hotel within 10 minutes after checking in because they were unable to accommodate connecting rooms and the reasons listed above. Customer service and management were unhelpful and ultimately denied any refund. We are extremely disappointed in Holiday Inn Express.

Wallpaper falling off at front desk, pool closed, back door to property broke, property unkept, bathroom counter broke, toothpaste on front of counter and was there from arrival until I checked out. I hope they were remodeling paint on carpet in hallway and plaster on walls. I was here for a week and never saw progress.

The problem I had with the whole experience was that I had requested 2 rooms for 2 days and when we arrived found out I only had 2 rooms for 1 day. The hotel was very nice in trying to accommodate us but it was stressful when we were advised that we only had rooms for 1 night. I'm not sure I will use Expedia's service again.

We had a good stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast looked appetizing. I don’t eat breakfast so can’t say how good it was. No one in our party complained. Staff was friendly. Coffee was fresh. The only issue was the pool which we all came prepared to enjoy was not in service. It’s middle of July and the pool was not usable? They should discount their rates when that is the case and people should be informed of that ahead of time. We did have to ask for more towels since they left two small ones for four adults. They brought them quickly.

Staff was friendly hotel is great!

After checking in, went to our rooms and 1 room hadn't been cleaned. Had to request another one. Both rooms same issue- poor lighting, ripped/broken bed frames.
-
The hotel needs to be renovated desperately. Roaches in the bathroom and behind the plastic phone cover. The bathroom is really worn and the water was warm but never hot.

Everything was great, except the pool wasn't open.

The A/C window unit did not cool the room. Aging, blurry water at check-in. Cheap old linens. Really sad. Room key did not open exterior side door. As a balanced-challenged senior, I had to stand in the tub to get to the soap/shampoo dispensers while taking a bath. Everything in this hotel was poorly maintained.

It has deteriorated badly over the past few years

The hallways smelled like animal pee. The elevator flooring tile was cracked and missing chunks. The free breakfast (hot options) was biscuit and gravy and a sad microwaved egg. The location was next to a parking lot where cars were doing donuts and burning out tires until well after 11pm. The pool was closed and by the looks of it the water disgusting. The gym was a closet.

The whole staff was fabulous

The location fit perfectly for the activities we were there for in both directions as a middle point. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. As for anything else was well below the standards of any Holiday Inn we have stayed at. From the start after check in we learn that one of the biggest reasons we choose this hotel versus the others in the area was for its pool and breakfast. Find out the pool is closed for an in disclosed amount of time, the breakfast pancake maker is not working, juice machine is broken, and the food options were okay. The elevator was very shakey, broken tiled floor that luckily didn't cut our feet but easily could. The room felt bare minimum on cleaned. The bathroom tile floors were all broken, moving under your feet, and some coming up. Moldy corners, very low sink pressure, and half the towels were definitely not cleaned as two still had red lipstick and.other smudges on them despite being rolled up and ready for use. We decided it was not worth trying to use the gym as first appearance was messy and cluttered, and on our last day it finally looked cleaned up. Overall, for being an IHG hotel this location was far below the acceptable rate they had us pay for.
