Best Western Plus Sweetwater Inn & Suites

Elevator wasn’t working, took a long time to get into room due to system difficulties, had no warm water and low water pressure so I had to wait to shower.

The room smelled musty and beds were very hard. Curtains did not fully close. Breakfast was minimal.

The staff was incompetent. They tried to double charge me for the room on 2 separate occasions. They did charge another person twice that was in front of us for check in. The room was fine but, not as throughly cleaned as it should have been. Breakfast was ok.

In our first room, the AC did not work at all even the manager came and checked it and had to move us to another room even after we were settled in. The parking lot was covered in construction trucks.

In the morning I had no hot water for a shower Elevator didn’t work at 1st but got fixed

Nice hotel-large, clean rooms. Staff person was helpful as elevator was not working and room keys didn’t work either. Had to go back and notify her each time, but she corrected the issues. Breakfast was okay. Had waffles you could make, scrambled eggs, bacon, hasbrowns, muffins and a few bagels. Had cereal but no milk. Apples and yogurt but no donuts/pastries. Coffee carafe was empty so had to have staff bring us 2 cups of coffee. Overall, would recommend this location ( was very quiet but heard that there were very few people checked in).

I travel frequently for work and understand that older hotels will naturally show wear and tear. Age isn’t the issue here. The issue is cleanliness and maintenance. The room was in rough shape. The walls were covered in scuff marks, stains, dents, and numerous patched areas where repairs had clearly been made over the years. Many of the repairs appeared to have simply been painted over. The security latch on the door was extremely loose, the furniture was heavily worn, one lamp appeared damaged, and the shower curtain had visible stains. The room also had a stale odor that reminded me of an old smoking room despite having laminate flooring throughout. The smell was noticeable as soon as I entered. Overall, the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. The condition of the room was poor enough that I chose to skip the complimentary breakfast. While I can’t comment on the food itself, the room did not inspire confidence. When checking out, I was honest with the front desk about the condition of the room. The employee thanked me for the feedback and stated that he hears similar complaints more often than he would like. He also indicated that ownership had been made aware of these concerns. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property.

The property has tight parking. The room (112), was musty. The bed was noisy. Breakfast was underwhelming. The gravy was so thick it couldnt be taken out with the provided laddle. When I checked it, the front desk was empty and 5 minutes passed before someone showed up.

Breakfast was terrible and the rooms were outdated. The place is really run down.

This is a reasonable place to stay. The elevator stopped working when we were there. It got stuck on 3rd floor either door open at least. Breakfast was okay.

There was no ice for guests on the property a store within walking distance had ice to buy. It appeared only one person was attempting to work the entire motel. I don't fault her she was pleasant but needed more help. The rooms were overpriced for what the property offered. I have never left a bad review for a business but this one deserves it.

Stuff was great. Got us in a little early room was clean and cool.

This room also had a very rust tub that would be inexpensive to replace along with other things that needed replacing.

Don’t get a room facing the interstate. Road noise was very loud.

The room was large and clean.

There was a leak in the ceiling in the lobby area dripping water into a pale. food during breakfast hrs was basically gone

Staff was very pleasant. Very clean room. Our room was facing the freeway and very noisy all night. Need darker sound proof curtains. Breakfast was all picked over and disappointed no yogurt.

Didnt care for the breakfast.

Room 105 toilet ran 24/7. Constant noise/vibration from adjacent room as if there were some sort of mechanical infrastructure running constantly.
