Do not try to check in early we tried 2 hours early because we arrived soon than expected-> receptionist was completely rude to my husband. She was talking to another staff member about her previous "adventure" he wait almost 4 mins while they talked before he was acknowledged. Then was told ughhh no come back at 3 when it will be ready. TO BE HONEST we almost canceled the trip because of this encounter. Aside from Karen (not her name fyi) it was a pleasant hotel. Kids loved the pool and being able to jump in the 8ft side of it. Nice pool side tables and chairs with working umbrellas. Room stayed cool all day & night. Cleaning crew was very friendly as well as the breakfast staff. The guy that works the kitchen room is on point. He told my husband and kids if there's anything that get low or we need more of to let him know and he was on it.

We had a death in the family. I called this hotel and spoke to the staff about paying for a room with my credit card for my brother since he did not have the funds. The staff told me to sign a credit authorization form and send it back which I did. The time was 5:37 pm. I also informed them that they would be driving in from Alabama and it would be after 3 am or so. They said that was fine. We'll at 4:08 am my sister in law called in tears stating that they would not let them check in because it was passed the window. This was after they tried saying they didnt have a room available. I was offered to pay for another night if they wanted to stay with no other option. So let me get this clear....you want me to pay double incidental fees at 150$ plus the rate at 81$ then double tax after being told everything would be fine. After my family drove 8 hours overnight after working all day they were met with THIS plus rude condescending staff. Your employees are ripping off paying guests for their "own" benefit is what is CLEARLY taking place here at this property. I sent them to holiday inn where they were met with a warm welcome and a chuckle from the staff beings they have never heard of such a thing or a "time window" or also why you wouldnt have just been a decent human.

Nothing Everything

Everything was great

The location The room was dirty, the bed had clearly been used by a previous guest, the bathroom was dirty, and the shower water was cold. There was no housekeeping staff available to change the bed linens when requested.
-
It was close to the hospital. The water pressure was bad. And there are carpenter ants in the room.
-
Abandoned restaurant attached - creepy. Area did not feel safe. Hotel was old and run down. Smelled like mildew in the room. You have to carry your luggage down a small flight of stairs to get the the elevator from tge lobby inside. If you need more towels or toilet paper you have to get it in the lobby (front desk) and bring it back to your room.

In a very convenient location. Close to stores, shopping, eating. Smell on 4th floor was horrible, paint was chipping, sanitizers station was bone dry, accessibility lift was out of order so one must leave lobby to walk around to side door entry for elevator use, sheets were itchy(maybe laundry detergent use). The number toroom was written on the wall in pencil beside the door, could not close bathroom door if u were already sitting on toilet. Took a while for water to get hot, tub look dirty.

The towels were good The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom wasn't really clean and it's dated with rust etc

It is wasn't far to where I came from to where I was traveling next day. I like they offer breakfast. I entered the lobby and it was extremely loud music coming from a near by room. I guess there was a party because it sounded like a DJ screaming. A man came out of that room holding what appeared to be a drink wearing only socks and heading to the front desk touching the computer equipment. So I wasn't sure if he was staff. Then someone else came out and he asked for my payment. And I had to sign a paper, which iI never got a receipt (I forgot to ask) I received the key, but never instructions on how to get to my room. I questioned him, but all he said was take the elevator to your floor, as if I would know where anything is. Then I looked for parking, but it was pretty far from my room since there was only one elevator and we were on the third floor, we literally walked from one end of hotel to the other holding our bags. Then to get ice again had to go all the way back to the other side of hotel. We were never told where to find ice, no check out time, didn't tell us about breakfast. I tried calling the front desk no answer. I tried texting back the message I received saying I could ask anything which was never answered. The room smelled of weed and the bed sheets felt a little damp. I was thankful I brought my own blanket. The bath tub looked very used, and no anti slip mat, which was extremely slippery. I ended up calling customer service to get breakfast time and I looked up the check out time online. Breakfast had a variety of things, but there was a woman staff who worked there and was very rude. She seemed not to want to do much of anything, even saying "throw out your stuff I'm not your mama" to all the guess. There was a male staff guy, he was bringing out food, he was nice even asking if we needed anything, he was the only thing that made us smile during our stay. The breakfast area had hand written signs that had words scratched out, looked old and very unprofessional.

Front desk wasn’t pleasant
-
No microwave is in the room but they do have one available to use upfront which was good. Don’t like paying the deposit at the property without notice and they only take card.
-
Unfortunately there aren’t much to like. No internet and no TV working. The staff wasn’t able to help.

The furniture looked like it was from a motel. Six, this place should be shameful. That they are operating under these poor conditions. Same as above. And as soon as I said, something or complained about what I saw, the lady up front was completely disrespectful, unprofessional and very aggravated and not helpful at all. I told them that they would need to refund me. My money, because I ended up finding another place that was a 10 out of 10 I would actually give it an 11 if I could. And the price was, so much lower than what I paid here i highly recommend that you do your research before booking this place.Because obviously it was bought out by somebody that did not take care of it.And it has just completely fallen apart and is very poorly maintenanced.
