Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tampa-Rocky Point Island by IHG

I loved this hotel. It is in a fantastic location next to a great restaurant. It has excellent views of the bay, complete with a dolphin swimming by. It is actually right on the water. The hotel swimming pool has a fantastic view. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. It is in a safe area in the hotel staff all were very pleasant and helpful. There’s a really nice hot breakfast for free every morning. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very quiet. I did not experience any noise at all. The only thing is that Expedia did not describe the room correctly. They advertised one bedroom suites with a bedroom that is separated from the living room with a door. When we checked in, they said they have no rooms like this. The hotel management actually found Expedia description of the room and it was in fact incorrect. Therefore, I had to pay for two rooms instead of the one, because we had three adults needing two different spaces.I’m really hoping that Expedia will reimburse me for one of the room charges.

The hotel sits next to the Tampa Bay with some water views. Breakfast was decent and room is ok. The staff wasn't too friendly. We specifically ask for a quiet room but was given a room outside the elevator. Someone was walking back and forth between rooms at 2am and our room had poor sound insulation. So that woke us up and we opened the door to tell that boy to stop. And then we heard people talking waiting for the elevator at 7am which woke us up again. So our experience wasn't too good with this Holiday Inn. We had good experiences with other Holiday Inns.

Hotel is in a good area with a view to the bay. Front desk lady was really nice and helpful. The room was really clean with lots of of storage but the beds are really hard. Breakfast was good.

A very nice hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the cable went out during my stay and the hotel didn't offer anything to make up for the disruption of service.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and quickly provided anything we needed, and the hotel is in a good, convenient area. It had everything we needed, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Staff was not welcoming on check in Breakfast was not served for the times stated. When we asked they were rude. There are lots of other options for better rates. Definitely overpriced

This hotel has amazing staff -- super friendly and helpful. It also uses the space in its rooms extremely well. I stayed in a partial bay/partial pool view room (lots of natural light when the drapes were open) that had a desk, a chaise, and a large bed. The bathroom was also bigger than expected and there were some bonus shelves next to the closet that felt useful for laying out things you didn't want to forget to grab on your way out. But I mostly wanted to write a review to mention the complimentary breakfast: Some of the options changed daily, which was a really nice surprise. For example, the first day offered cheese omelettes and pork sausage links, but the second day was scrambled eggs and sausage scramble. Then there were daily staples like biscuits and gravy, a selection of cereals, cinnamon rolls, and more. I didn't expect to eat there every morning, but their offerings made me want to -- and some of it was portable enough to take to the airport when I had to leave for an early morning flight.

Great stay to go to the stadium. Bahama Breeze next door very good. Nothing.

The gentleman who checked us in and out was also very good. The ladies who were responsible for the room were all very helpful too. There must be a good management team. It shows in the staff. We will be back.

Everything was perfect and team members were amazing , the only thing we were looking for somewhere to wash my daughters milk bottle and we are not allowed to use the kitchen water and no other place to wash it , the only option was in our room which means bathroom sink which we will never use for cleaning milk bottle for a kid , so instead we went to the closest restaurant to be able to wash the bottle
