Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel

This is definitely an older hotel. Its location was great. Easy walk to the outlet stores and TLC Park which is especially great for kids. Breakfast was good with eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, cereal and a variety of pastries, yogurt and fruit cups. There are some areas that need fixing. The carpet by the fireplace had a spot that looked like it burnt the carpet and hurt to walk on. Pool was nice and being enclosed would be a great place during the winter.

Hotel system was down and delayed check in. We checked in at 330p and the hotel checked another guest in our room around 930p. The other guests tried entering our room 3x, which was very scary. I called the front desk and no answer. Went to front desk and they said the room was showing as vacant. The front staff apologized with no regards for the safety of my family and told me it's because I booked with a 3rd party. Didn't offer me a refund or any accommodation for the mishap.

Hotel was very old not taken care of no updates. I think it was a three star rating, but it really should’ve only been like a two or one very dirty needs new rugs painting sorry that I picked that hotel.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, plenty of parking. Have issues with bathroom mirror light, kept on flicking and could not be fixed. Too bad I can’t upload a video clip.

The staff was really nice but the room and the hotel has and the room has a smell. I wouldn’t stay there again. Also the chairs had stains on them in my room.

The location was good. Right off the highway and close to shopping centers but still quite area. Front desk staff was horrible at check in. Zero customer service, my wife and I waited for a few minutes until he showed up at the desk. We were offered no apology for the waited. He just simply asked name. That was it, not welcome, not how was your day, just simply name. We were then rushed through check in like he had somewhere to be. He was speaking so fast to rush us out. It was completely unnecessary.

The 2nd shift staff were amazing. The young one the next morning was rude. Called the front desk to ask about breakfast times. He answered the phone with "what do you want?" Then when i asked where breakfast was located he told me it's over in 4 min. I told him that's not what i asked. My kids were in there eating.
